I'm very glad the author is providing backstories!! It's very helpful to know what lays behind part 2!
Comments from author:
Thank you. I considered putting some of them in Lonely Souls but I feared it would become too discursive. Well, even more discursive than it is now... Thanks for reviewing

Review:
So this is where it leads, and how it connects. again, beautiful. Tara is indeed a mother - I feel like loving her just from here. And Maybe that power will help heal the rift between Janet, Eileen and Mary? I can only hope so. Poor Tara. She really doesn't deserve the guilt of causing her mothers death. And none of them really deserve the guilt of Eileen's earlier deeds (even if they included fratricide) if she was being mind controlled by Black. But I shall see, hopefully soon. I do wonder though how bad the relationship between them is. Hopefully the Johnsons/Ellises/Miers will be able to help through their experiences as well.
Comments from author:
Yup, like pieces of a puzzle. ( I hope) With three mothers actively working to get the family back together, there is a good chance things will get better, yes. Janet and Eileen have a good many problems. And Eileen is devastated by what she did to her brothers.

Thanks for reviewing.

Review:
oooh, nice!!

and YEAH TARA!!!

tho, if she's kin to Willow, even if first cousin once removed or something like that, I guess they won't get together *sobs*
I don't mind Oz (much) but I really really liked Willow/Tara (but please, *please* do not bring the Potentials, especially Kennedy around) *ducks thrown rotten fruit from all the Willow/Kennedy OTP shippers)
Comments from author:
Thanks! Willow and Tara are not related. Willow's (maternal) grandfather was married to one of Tara's grandmother's cousins, they had no children either. Not even the Pope would mind if Willow and Tara got together. Well except for the whole, 'Gay now' thing...

I Won't promise anything. But as the potentials are in season seven And I'm not even upto Christmas in the first season...

thanks for reviewing.

Review:
Interesting connection. I do think, especially considering her canonical appearances, that Tara has the Mother power, too.
Comments from author:
Why do so many of these things refuse to remain answered! And yes, Tara is a Mother. It is the Beckforth family power.

I had questions but somebody beat me to them. Anyhow....hoping that Janet will understand that was not really her sister.

Edit: Thanks *smiles* It is so very nice of you to always be answering.

I think that is something wrong with that phrase but I am to tired now to get what. Anyhow...nice update to the main story.
Comments from author:
Heh. Well here you have the answers I think...

This takes place after Donny and Dad are arrested. They go to Maryland to stay with relatives (as stated in A naval investigator).

Then this story happens, and then this storyline intersects with Lonely Souls and several months later (the slow wheels of justice) Gibbs encounters the two again, when Eileen is certain she is not long for the world.

And then we intersect with Lonely souls again....tension!

No one in particular is after Tara, both her male relatives are safely in the Big House. The person after her was a random rapist/murderer. Which gives me an idea....

And Yes, Lilith is the Grand Magister. Were those the questions?

It was her sister of course...just under a spell.

Interesting add-on. It doesn't quite feel like a one-shot, though I assume that's due to things to be revealed/expounded on later in the timeline. And as both the airman and his woman were surprised at the other's automatic reaction to Janet's dressing down, I take they met each other out of uniform and Janet recognized the airman?
Comments from author:
Thank you. The Maclays/Beckforths will next appear in Lonely Souls. After that they shall return to this spin off.

Hmmm. I did not specifically state it, but I imagined the Airman to be wearing his uniform. And that the girl is one too...Oops.

The airman was looking for a good time and they neither of them are rich.

I'm terribly impressed by your series. You must have an incredibly complex storyboard in order to keep track of all the connections. I have been enjoying every new link, even when I'm not terribly well acquainted with the characters. (gives me a reasons to become so). Thanks for continuing.
Comments from author:
Thank you. I'll admit the story board is...intricate. Takes a lot of leafing through on occasion.

Glad you like the crossovers and if they lure you into learning about what they are based on, all the better.

Thanks for the review!

Time line here is a bit vague and the reference to dating a marine takes place after her protection spell puts Eileen on the brink of death? Who is after Tara, I thought her abusive side of the family was in Jail/prison? Having Janet Frasier added to the red headed league is cool.
Comments from author:
Hmmm. I may need to work on the time line a bit then.

Glad you like the introduction of Janet.

You said this was set before the end of the NCIS crossover. Eileen was clearly recovered then. Did they take her to Sunnydale so Simon could heal her? Is this Lilith mentioned the new Grand Magister?
