::snicker:: Gee, Kurtzman gets around and, given his resources, I rather suspect Willow knows enough to stay out of notice and I hope she's got the smarts to. I'm rather enjoying the changes here and I'm quite looking forward to finding out exactly how Xander got the beginnings of Remo's training (somehow, I suspect this to be YAH spinoff, or some similar "possession", as it would fit - on the other hand, Xander does have "peculiar" luck).

Yeah, those computer geeks turn up at the most unexpected times, don't they? ;-)

And whi8le Willow might be good, Kurtzman is most definitely better. ;-)

I'm currently stalled on the next chapter of this, but I'm trying to get past the block, and get to Xander's explanation of exactly where and how he got his funky new skills. Remo and Chiun were both quite interested in learning that, too. ;-)

I have to admit that the Destroyer is an interesting crossover, one that you don't see too often so I started reading out of sheer novelty. A public library that I frequent has a couple of these Destroyer novels on honorback that I started paging through a few years ago and I found it interesting enough, with some subtle political humor thrown in here and there. I also saw the movie Remo Williams that was based on; although it wasn't that great, I thought the interaction between Remo and Chuin to be hysterical. I'm curious enough to continue reading this story and looking forward to the rest. I'm also wondering just how did Xander receive the training in Sinanju. Did he get it from the Halloween spell?

No, Xander didn't get his new skills from the Halloween spell. Where and when he got them will eventually be revealed in the next chapter or two.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Xander and Faith are going to The Big Leagues for training now!!!

And Willow and Buffy are going to have to learn - probably with a great deal of pain and embarrassment - that they have absolutely no say in them leaving. Giles' reaction to the news should be interesting...

And somehow I think that the reigning Master of Sinanju and his Little Father are either in the apartment with Faith beside them, watching all this, or are just outside debating what to have for their next meal and why it's Remo's fault that one of Chin's traveling trunks was (barely) scratched during the drive into Sunnydale.

Hoping to see the training Xander went through and the beginning of both their training in the chapters to come... Although, if you could arrange a little Humble Pie serving (or two) for Buffy and Willow tonight, I'd appreciate it...

Question: Any way to put the first chapter ('What I Did On My Summer Vacation') into the Epub format when the next chapter of 'Joining the Workforce' gets out? Hate to whine (except when I'm missing my updated Greywizard stories), but the Epub is easier for me these days - I don't have to edit out the "extraneous" words - like all that stuff 'tween the top stuff like Twisting The Hellmouth Crossing Over Awards - Results
and the actual story....

I think it's very strange how Xander actually talked about being involved in a secret black ops type government deal, but it sets the stage for another chapter in this awesome series. I can't wait to see what you'll come up with next!

Well, he had to give the Gang at least a partial explanation if he wanted them to pay any attention to what he was saying. Otherwise, Willow would be sticking her electronic nose into places that would get her into BIG trouble.
