Excellent story. I'm not familiar with the cross-over so it takes a little to understand the characters from it but you do an nice job of presenting enough information naturally that the reader can get a feel for the characters. Loved the humor and the interaction between Arizay and Lucy and the characters from the 1830s. Hope you have additional chapters coming soon.

Review:
The time-travel aspect seemed a bit abrupt, but your exploration of the time that the Slayers- and points to you for the risky decision to use OCs as your main characters here; Lucy and Ari were actually rather interesting- arrived in generally seemed to work, and it looks like their future investigations into whatever’s taking place in New Orleans should definitely be interesting to read.

I am so glad we have moved on from this to families where parents will happily adopt children of any color. It's not perfect, people may always be "a little bit racist," but we're growing up.

Another terrific update, crammed with nifty and useful and even beautiful details. I do love this story so. Well, the whole series has been great, that that shouldn't be surprising. I'm very sorry to hear that real life has gotten difficult. I hope it gets better soon. Best of luck and thanks for keeping up the writing!

As usual, your hard work and dedication to your story show themselves clearly in the end result. Delighted as I was to see a new chapter up, I receive it with mixed feelings: I'm saddened to hear you've been having a difficult time of it.

The intricate details, the deft handling of dialogue, and the careful attention to historical detail always leave me breathless when I read your works, particularly this one. I completely understand how life interrupts writing, and sympathize greatly. I hope that things get better for you and your family soon. Know that your readers (myself at least) will wait happily and patiently for your stories. Seeing an update on one of your stories always makes me grin madly.

Definitely worth the reread. I have thoroughly enjoyed this series and this story, including the latest update, and I hope that more updates will keep coming sooner rather than later! And I also love the little historical notes. Very educational and sometimes downright fascinating. Keep up the great work and thanks for writing!
