Review of chapter "Chapter Seven." from DieselDriver
Review:
Uh Oh. They don't want to be around when Buffy wakes up. She is going to be so furious at them and at herself for being drugged (obviously one her body isn't used to). Given Slayer healing, she'll probably wake up way sooner than they planned on.
Comments from author:
After 800,000 years I expect there's all sorts of things Buffy's not used to.

Cheers,
D.

Review of chapter "Chapter Five." from DieselDriver
Review:
I have to wonder how much longer the Earth's day would be after 800,000 years, and how much further away the moon would be, supposedly it gains an inch every year. Oh never mind. Not even noticeable. 12.63 miles unless I figured it wrong.

Ok, vamps. Not what I was expecting. Maybe this is the future that included the one big war terminating in Nukes has as a past instead of Buffy's? Or perhaps a combination of the two based on Buffy's not being there for awhile.
Comments from author:
Hmmm, forgot about the Earth's rotation slowing down. However as they were only there for a few days and as long as it hadn't slowed down dramatuically I don't expect they'd notice.

Cheers,
D.

Absolutely! Buffy planned this whole trip just to mess up Kennedy's and Willow's weekend off.

Yepppp! Uh Huh, You Betcha!

Review of chapter "Chapter Three." from DieselDriver
Review:
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU BUFFY!!! Something they did changed the past and the nuclear war never happened... THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU BUFFY!!!

“Dawnie’s a bit magical,” Hmmm. Something tells me this may be the key to why all the slayers turned lesbian. Notice I say "may be". (Yes I know the difference between "maybe" and "may be".)

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from DieselDriver
Review:
Well, well, well. It seems unlikely that "The Time Traveler" caused the rampant lesbianism. Time travel leads to some weird paradoxes though so you never can tell. Episodes of "Doctor Who" come to mind as well as the novel "Millennium" and "The Time Ships" by Steven Baxter which is a sequel to Wells' "The Time Machine" in which "The Time Traveler" goes back to help Weena but he's left the flower behind and well, if you haven't read it, I'll just say, everything is different.
Comments from author:
Well, isn't that always the way!?

Cheers,
D.

Review of chapter "Chapter Ten." from ShyBob
Review:
I was initially confused, as I was thinking of the American retread of TTM. Good show using the original--plus miniVamps! Nice job on the flow and action, as usual.
Comments from author:
Have to admit I had to click on the story title to jog my mind as to which story this was. Anyway, I glad you liked. I actually read the book as well but I thought that the 1960's film would be more fun. I have in fact watched the updated version of the film...I wasn't impressed.

Cheers,
D.

Review:
I think time travel is a fantasy, not reality. If time travel were possible we would already know about it. I also don't believe there are alternate realities, there is only one reality, the one we're stuck with.
But this story was entertaining and different from the 'Time Machine', funny I remember that movie, most of the time I forget things. Maybe because Yvette Mimieaux was in it , however you spell her name, not sure about that.
Looking forward to the last of this series just to see how it ends.
Thanks for posting.
Comments from author:
I took this story from the original book and the 1960's film I hated the remake and have expunged it from my mind!

Time travel? Well my heart whats it to be possible but my head tells me otherwise...but how would we know if the past had been changed?

Cheers,
D.

Review:
I loved Buffy and George's interactions; she seemed to be more alive than her life in England. Her comparison to Giles was appropriate, in handling George's "out of time" experiences.
There are still a lot of vamps left, so I can't see George being left alone.
Does another time stream Buffy stay in the future?
Comments from author:
Thank-you, there are so many different time lines almost anything could have happened.

Cheers,
Dave.

Review:
Dang! Your story's ending made my head hurt. But then again, most time travel stories make my head hurt. Lol!

The line: "she could count on the fingers of one hand the people or families that had moved out of Sunnydale to somewhere safer like Beirut" made me laugh out loud at the perfect logic of the statement.

George was a true hero. I hope he actually accomplished something when he returned to that depressing possible future. Of course if we want to be cold and logical, by having Buffy and George destroy most of the Morlocks and their surviving technology, the Eloi will starve to death within days. But than again, George is a hero, and an engineer, and he just might keep some of the machinery running until he can teach the Eloi agriculture again. I really enjoyed this story and at least you didn't kill off any of my favorite characters this time. But I am wondering if you are hinting Kennedy will eventually have to put Darth Willow down. How jolly that would be. Lol!
Comments from author:
Thank-you, and as for not killing off characters...well, there's still one story to go in this series (Maw-Ha-Ha!).

I have a feeling that we might see George again.

I'm sure that having to 'deal' with Willow has occured to Kennedy. Will she be stronge enough to put a bullet in the back of her lover's head in order to save the world; or is this all a small scarlet fish?

Cheers,
Dave.

Another entertaining story with usual 'time travel is confusing' ending. I hope this isn't the last story in the series.
Comments from author:
One last story in this series/season. I'm working on a season two.

Cheers,
Dave.

Review of chapter "Chapter Ten." from JasonBarnett
Review:
why is it that when it comes to Willow and magic a group that is normally eager to fight and ready to solves problem prefers to wait around with their thumbs up their... you know wheres.

According to season 7 Willow's magic addiction wasn't addiction and really I think her explanation to Kennedy, which was apparently erased, is kind of weak. WIllow simply isn't the sort of person who can let problems stay unresolved if she has the means to deal with them.
Comments from author:
But, it certainly was in season six. I look at what happened in Season 7 as sort of a remission. It's like being an alcoholic, you can fall off the wagon anytime.

The other thing is you've got to admit you have a problem. Human capacity for self delusion is enormous!

Anyway this is all a bit pointless as none of this happened because George dropped Buffy off too early. So, as far as everyone other than Buffy is concerned she only went missing for a couple of minutes!

Cheers,
Dave.

Review:
And everything willow and co went through was erased, or part of an altetnate timeline? We are going to find out the brooklyn bridge is blue or something later?
Comments from author:
Now this is a very good point and we may find it covered some time in season two! I'm definitely thinking of having George pop up again and it could be that Buffy notices some changes.

Cheers,
Dave.

Review:
Very good story.

George should go somewhere and load up on the ordinance (include flame-throwers).

Actually the "ordinance" should include a single-use magical talisman to awaken a new line of Slayers. Assuming the line has been extinguished.
Comments from author:
Not a bad idea and not one I'd thought of!

Cheers,
Dave.

It's over? And only one more story to be added? POO! And here I was loving the series.
Comments from author:
Then you'll be glad to know I'm working on a Season Two! However I won't have it completed for quite some time, sorry.

Cheers,
Dave.
