Review of chapter "Chapter Ten." from maxthehobbit
Review:
I think time travel is a fantasy, not reality. If time travel were possible we would already know about it. I also don't believe there are alternate realities, there is only one reality, the one we're stuck with. But this story was entertaining and different from the 'Time Machine', funny I remember that movie, most of the time I forget things. Maybe because Yvette Mimieaux was in it , however you spell her name, not sure about that. Looking forward to the last of this series just to see how it ends. Thanks for posting.

I took this story from the original book and the 1960's film I hated the remake and have expunged it from my mind!
Time travel? Well my heart whats it to be possible but my head tells me otherwise...but how would we know if the past had been changed?
Cheers, D.

Review:
I loved Buffy and George's interactions; she seemed to be more alive than her life in England. Her comparison to Giles was appropriate, in handling George's "out of time" experiences. There are still a lot of vamps left, so I can't see George being left alone. Does another time stream Buffy stay in the future?
Comments from author:
Thank-you, there are so many different time lines almost anything could have happened.
Cheers, Dave.

Dang! Your story's ending made my head hurt. But then again, most time travel stories make my head hurt. Lol!
The line: "she could count on the fingers of one hand the people or families that had moved out of Sunnydale to somewhere safer like Beirut" made me laugh out loud at the perfect logic of the statement.
George was a true hero. I hope he actually accomplished something when he returned to that depressing possible future. Of course if we want to be cold and logical, by having Buffy and George destroy most of the Morlocks and their surviving technology, the Eloi will starve to death within days. But than again, George is a hero, and an engineer, and he just might keep some of the machinery running until he can teach the Eloi agriculture again. I really enjoyed this story and at least you didn't kill off any of my favorite characters this time. But I am wondering if you are hinting Kennedy will eventually have to put Darth Willow down. How jolly that would be. Lol!
Comments from author:
Thank-you, and as for not killing off characters...well, there's still one story to go in this series (Maw-Ha-Ha!).
I have a feeling that we might see George again.
I'm sure that having to 'deal' with Willow has occured to Kennedy. Will she be stronge enough to put a bullet in the back of her lover's head in order to save the world; or is this all a small scarlet fish?
Another entertaining story with usual 'time travel is confusing' ending. I hope this isn't the last story in the series.
Comments from author:
One last story in this series/season. I'm working on a season two.
Cheers, Dave.

Review:
why is it that when it comes to Willow and magic a group that is normally eager to fight and ready to solves problem prefers to wait around with their thumbs up their... you know wheres.
According to season 7 Willow's magic addiction wasn't addiction and really I think her explanation to Kennedy, which was apparently erased, is kind of weak. WIllow simply isn't the sort of person who can let problems stay unresolved if she has the means to deal with them.
Comments from author:
But, it certainly was in season six. I look at what happened in Season 7 as sort of a remission. It's like being an alcoholic, you can fall off the wagon anytime.
The other thing is you've got to admit you have a problem. Human capacity for self delusion is enormous!
Anyway this is all a bit pointless as none of this happened because George dropped Buffy off too early. So, as far as everyone other than Buffy is concerned she only went missing for a couple of minutes!
Cheers, Dave.

And everything willow and co went through was erased, or part of an altetnate timeline? We are going to find out the brooklyn bridge is blue or something later?
Comments from author:
Now this is a very good point and we may find it covered some time in season two! I'm definitely thinking of having George pop up again and it could be that Buffy notices some changes.
Cheers, Dave.

OK, so none of the draining Dawn's blood ever happened, and Buffy is the only one who knows what the future is going to be like. The question is, will she tell the others?
Comments from author:
One possible future, I have a feeling once George gets back to the future he'll find it changed coz he accidentally changed the past.
As for your second point; as I know what's in the next story I'd say she keeps it to herself.
Cheers, Dave.

Review:
I think Faith ends up in the future and meets Buffy on her return for help. George and Buffy will have moved the time machine so they return to Weena outside of the bunker. I wonder if Buffy will stay in the future, where she and George can make a difference. At least she will have a purpose in life.
I always enjoyed watching that show and others like it ( First Man in the Moon ), when they were on TV. TV executives don't have that type of show on now, they show some type of modern rubbish, where there is plenty of it.
Cheers
Comments from author:
I'm saying nothing on how it'll end...he-he!
However, 'The First Man in the Moon and Quatermass and the Pit are all possiblies for future stories.
Cheers, Dave.

Ooookay, looks like things are 'bout ta go seriously seriously south somehow. When Buffy and Faith are on the same wave length, the world's usually 'bout to end or somethin!
