I try to keep an open mind about Twilight since I've never read the books or seen the movies, that being said I still know next to nothing about the series but from what I have seen you have done a good job of merging the two universes into one in regards to the differences between the vampires. Though from what I've read about Alice and know about Angel maybe her time in the books may be a bit different since she had to deal with him. Or for that matter what happens when they meet a Slayer.
