Really interesting idea here with Ellen as her aunt! So creative! I was shocked because until I saw "The Roadhouse" I didn't really put it together then it was like "BLAM!" LOL Fantastical! I love anything with Spike/Dawn friendship or more, and of course Supernatural and BtVS just make sense together.
Great writing as well, you did the loss of her sister and the pain she felt perfectly. It felt real.

I really, really liked this! The idea of Ellen being Dawn (and Buffy's) aunt and that Dawn's going to live with her at the Roadhouse, is seriously awesome! Also the adding of Spike, makes it even better! I wonder how that would work with the Roadhouse being full of hunters and Spike being, you know, a vampire? =)

I enjoyed this bit of story - I am always interested in fics that give Dawn some competent guardianship after Buffy's death, and I like it even more when Spike goes along to help. It's a scenario that makes for good crossovers. I'd read more if you posted more - it would be interesting to see Dawn integrate into the Roadhouse life. Thanks for sharing!
