It's amazing how a werewolf can be even more of an arrogant jerk than a vampire, but in this universe, somehow they manage it. I'd get a headache and leave too!

You always have some of the best shorts during the August challenge. It makes me extremely happy that you participate. :)
I like the reminder of Cain and Buffy assuming Charles might be just like him. The mistrust rings true, especially after the year she's had. I also like that she was there to try and help while Charles was there to merely kill. It was a nice distinction and fun to see Buffy as the one there to help the monster rather than destroy it. I hope to see more of this verse.

I was thinking about the times that Buffy's encountered werewolves, and it seems like her first response is to tranq them and make sure that they don't harm anyone. I thought that it made a nice contrast to Charles and his role as his father's enforcer. The Cain assumption just kind of slid right in there after that. :)
There's going to be more. I just need to figure out future meetings and how it goes from there.
