Review of chapter "Chapter One" from Fayari
Review:
I've gone through a break up like that. I found out she had been cheating on me with a jerk bad boy type. Then she proceeded to make up shit about how I had apparently cheated on her first and shit like that. She kept telling it to anyone who'd listen for weeks. By the end of it, I was treated like scum.

It's bitches like her and the Cordy in your story that give women bad reputations and make men bitter and cynical.

Karma did catch up to her though. The truth eventually came out, after months of me enduring the horrible treatment. Nowadays, I run a million-dollar small-investments firm, I fully own my house and car, and I'm dating a great woman. Last I heard of the bitch who treated me like crap, she had to drop out of college because she got pregnant, and I hear she's a single mother living with her parents, knocked up with her second kid, from an unknown father.

Sorry, just felt I had to share this. Xander should have stood up for himself. Cordelia has no right talking to him like that.

Hahahahaha, nice one. I do wonder why you're producing these all as seperate fics when they're all basically part of the same continuum, is it because there's skips in between?

But . . . why was it only the women's cards that were disabled and not the men's? Very funny piece, but I don't understand that aspect of it. Also, why were the cards declined and not just "unreadable"? They ought to have been able to use the numbers to complete a purchase (just as Giles did with his card) no matter if the magnetic strip had been disabled.

Edited to add: Ah, I was just over-thinking it, huh? Still funny, so it's all good!
Comments from author:
Sigh.

This story is a reworking of the BtVS episode 'Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered' where Xander got Amy Madison to cast a love spell upon Cordelia in retaliation for her dumping him, only to have this enchantment backfire in making every other female in Sunnydale fall in love with that teenage boy.

Funny, yes. Logical, no.

Which was what I was going for here. It's magic, so it doesn't necessarily have to make sense. It's just enough that it provoked a giggle-fest.

Glad you liked the story anyway!

Loving the series, but the end of this one specifically had me laughing my ass off. Looking forward to tomorrow's installation, can't wait to find out who's next!

Xander wouldn't die if they got hold of him. That would let him off the hook and ruin the Female population's revenge. Being infected with a demon, or a soul infecting a demon, would be a minor irritant in comparison to the agonies he would be put through. Going to Hell would be considered a vacation. Lucifer would quail at the atrocities inflicted upon him.
