Interesting story so far, but as far as I've read with the entire Anita Blake series, the Traveler is the only one who can use other vampires' bodies, NOT Bella Morte EDIT: yes, but that was not the arduer, but Anita's growing powers as a necromancer that allowed her to mentally push Musette, but, as you said, artistic license

I can't remember exactly which book but it is the one Anita develops the ardour. It's a tiny part where she pushes her power through Musette and I took artistic license.

I enjoyed this. Liked seeing Anita get help when she needed it. Liked that she asked! Liked that Buffy was Buffy and... yeah, the baked cookie of moresome worked for me.
Liked it all around, which is saying a bit, because I don't always like the Anita fan fic. So well done.
Great job! Interesting story premise. Actually wish someone would develop this into a full story. I'd especially love to see the meeting between Buffy & Edward. :)

At least if Buffy and Angel have each other then they are not truely alone. If they have come to terms with themselves then they would be good role models for Jean-Claude and Anita not to mention good allies.
