I love it! Especially the part where Willow complained about the name Penelope. I wish it was longer though. It will be interesting to read about the first meeting between Penelope and the 'parents'.
I love it! Great explanation for the Xander/Kevin 'resemblance'. And way more fun than 'Xander changed his name and somehow became a tech for the FBI'. Thanks for sharing. If you decide to add more to this, I'd love to read it!

That's the best explanation for Kevin Lynch I've seen so far! Yeah, I loved the bit about asking mum about all the dark secrets... So very twisted. {smirk}

Definately a crackfic and enjoyable. Nice taking of established canon events and with the exception of removing Buffy from the picture to allow for this to be just between Xander and Willow to solve, it uses established ideas and plays them into a very logical conclusion. There is a serious want to see the others reaction to Kevin (Giles, Faith, Dawn and Andrew) and the Toth reference would have to be brought up. Like others have said the spell and Xander's reaction to the questions was very realistic and human. Every parent has likely had that point where they just get deluged by questions to the point of kinda throwing their hands up and saying something to get it to stop, even if only for a moment. That Xander's words were spot on (him being the heart and all) and that it was thru this that he in some ways made Kevin more of a unique individual than just a newer Dawn, but male. For some reason I want to say they showed Kevin with a tatoo in the show at some point and that would also be a fun moment to delve into with the whole over protective parents thing going on.
Lots of fun and the best part of stories like this is it usually leaves you satisfied and yet with so many more questions about what is to come and what else is involved in that reality that it carries on with the reader after the initial read. So thanks and great job. Appreciate the fun. Later.

LMAO, I would love to see the look on Garcia's face when Kevin brought her home to meet Will and Xander... who are way too young to be his parents! This was great!
