Review of chapter "Chapter One" from Cateagle
Review:
Oh, dear, the British wizarding world doesn't realize what it's unleashed (and I doubt it will until way too late) and I love the idea of a dangerously angered Hermione Granger serving in this capacity. BTW, I loved the tip o'the hat to Robert Heinlein (yes, I recognized where that bit came from) and found it most fitting in this use. I'm quite looking forward to sequels from this and seeing who she ends up working with and working against.
Comments from author:
Yeah, this was an idea I had for explaining why and how the British Wizarding World screwed itself over royally.

Not sure what more I'll do with it, or when it'll show up, but things will eventually end up back in London at the Ministry of Magical Idiocy, with an extremely irate Hermione Granger, backed by whichever allies she might have picked up along the way, demonstrating to the still-living purebloods why it is they're boned. ;-)

Review:
Dark and complicated.
Comments from author:
Very true. Most things involving Wolfram and Hart are.

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from superfan
Review:
I love your Hermione, SO MUCH.
Comments from author:
Thanks, glad you enjoyed the story. I thought that this incarnation was a quite reasonable derivation of the canon character, when considering the events that took place in her life.

Review:
An excellent twist on what could have been the future in HP.
Comments from author:
Thanks. Things could easily have gone very wrong any number of times.

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from Gideon
Review:
Pity that Harry and Ron didn't survive but at least most of Hermione's list of "Better off dead" now actually are :)
Comments from author:
I don't know that they're 'Better off,' considering where they're likely to end up, but they most definitely are 'dead.' ;-)

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from (Recent Donor)redjacobson
Review:
Very interesting, while I'll admit the backstory is a bit darker than I'm comfortable with when it comes to HP stories, I would be interested to see where you might take this one.

At the moment, I'm not sure whether I'll get back to this before the end of the month, or not.

Glad you enjoyed it.

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from TaraLi
Review:
Interesting start, though I'm rather surprised at General Services having anything to do with WR&H. Those in charge of General Services really wouldn't put up with a lot of the things WR&H does.
Comments from author:
Well, in the original story, that would have been quite true, but in the Joss-verse, I don't believe he'd allow anyone to be as straight-laced as they were to exist.

Or, you coudl consider that W&H saw how well GS had done in other dimensions and simply stole the idea and the name to use in their own. (That sounds a lot more reasonable to me.)

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from MarcusRowland
Review:
Don't you think it might be a good idea to mention the origin of the General Services organization specifically in your disclaimer, since you seem to have copied the ad verbatim from Heinlein's story?
Comments from author:
I had intended - and thought - I had mentioned where General Services originated, but obviously, didn't. Brain fart, I guess. ;-(

It's fixed now, and thanks for pointing that out.

Review:
Oh wow... I can't help but want this Hermione to meet with a Xander that's been hardened by years of African horrors. It would end up with either both of them dead, or an unstoppable team.
Comments from author:
Well, that is a very intriguing, and also very disturbing, idea. 0-0
