Review of chapter "Chapter Two" from superfan
Review:
Ritalin wouldn't either.
Comments from author:
Worrying about dying does tend to focus one's attention, doesn't it? ;-)

Review:
Loki = archangel Gabriel? Is that from some property or other I should check out, or is it your own thing? Intriguing, either way. I'll be interested to see how all of this turns out. Also Giles' reactions from after the first story, which I just reread, though I assume they were at least relatively positive, given Xander's a) still walking around and b) planning to go see him.
Comments from author:
Gabriel as Loki is a 'Supernatural' crossover.

And Giles' interactions with the newly 'enhanced' Scoobies will be addressed in the future.

Great chapter, loved the way things have turned out. Luna is her cousin? Hmmm. Looks like three worlds here. And what about poor Wolfie?
Comments from author:
The world is a wide open and very strange place - especially when it comes to relatives. ;-)

And Willow and Oz's relationship will be addressed in the next couple chapters.

Review:
Woohoo!! If Xander Turns Cordelia into a Dracula type Vampire, she lives - so to speak - without losing her soul - as IMNSHO, Dracula types have one; it's their actions that determines if they're the Western modern version of demonic or not - while keeping the visions AND really, REALLY hacking off the Primadonnadivas That Be 'cause they lost a puppet... Also, Loki will probably get a kick out of the situation maybe to the point of sly assists, getting other Pranksters Gods involved... Murphy and Janus, anyone?

Liked that she didn't go Extinction Level Event after hearing about Xander doing the Great Happy Mambo with the two girls she probably worried the most about with regards to her relationship with Xander. Granted she has a LOT on her mind now and may choose to revisit the conversation at a later date, as apparently this is the God given right of every woman...OK, guys too, work with me here, folks!... so I hope Xander goes about doing his best to treat her the way he thinks a love should be treated without all the concerns and worries about status, wealth, etc, that keeps the relationship in the shadows so far...

Did that last part make /any/ sense...
Comments from author:
Yes, the Scoobies did keep their souls, there's no question about that.

The Gang has a number of options available to them, as will be outlined in the next chapter.

And all of the younger Scoobies' interpersonal relationships will be up for discussion in future chapters - whether Xander want to discuss them or not. ;-)

Review:
teehee i love it! i can't wait to see what loki told her and what they find out!
Comments from author:
You read everything Loki told Cordelia in the first chapter.

now it simply remains to be seen how the Scoobies decide to handle things.

Hint: There's probably going be a LOT of screaming and violence. ;-)

interesting chapter, but I'm going to have to go back and re-read the earlier parts since I've kind of lost track of the story.

A Xander/Cordy story, I hope? Oh, cool. ;)

Good to see some new stuff from you. I'll be looking forward to see where this goes.

Ah. BTW: New stuff for me, too. I started posting "Rio Blanco" today, finally. Got it all finished and done up to final draft.
Comments from author:
Yes, as far as Xander is concerned, this is going to be primarily a X/C ship, with each of the main three forming their own private 'ships.

Yeah, I saw that when I got the notice when I logged on, and have to say, I'm definitely thinking that it's a winner. ;-)

Interesting! I look forward to where you take this one.

I've got the general plotline set up, now it's just a matter of finding the time to write it, along with my other ongoing stories.

Review:
Good. One question:

According to this story, Xander was unable to enter Cordelia's home without an invitation.

In your previous story, Buffy retrieved some clothing of Xander and Willow from her home.

How was she able to enter her home?

Did I miss something?
Comments from author:
Xander was unable to enter *Cordy's* home because it wasn't his; Buffy could enter her own home, because it was still her home.

Despite what Xander said to Cordy - and which all of Scoobies currently believe - none of them actually died. They were transformed into their new demonic forms, after entering a death-like coma. Had Buffy not given Xander and Willow her blood, they would have died from blood loss, but Buffy's blood sustained them, after they were *mostly*, but not *entirely* drained - just as Dracula's blood sustained her during her transformation. It can be considered similar to Cordy's becoming a half-demon when she Ascended at the end of Season Three of Angel - she didn't die, and she could no longer be considered human.

It's one of the disadvantages of their new forms the Scoobies received to offset the advantages they gained.

Review:
Easy Queen C! Making deals with Loki is not always to the betterment of humanity!
Comments from author:
Loki's not really offering any deals here - he's simply letting Cordy know that Whistler and his associates have a well-hidden agenda that they're not letting their intended pawns know about, and that agenda is not going to be conducive to a long life for said pawns.

He's just as interested in screwing things up for the PTB as he is in improving his own situation.

I just read them both and loved it. I kinda want this to be canon.
Comments from author:
Somehow, I just can't see Joss agreeing to rewrite the Scoobies' history back to Season Three, no matter how much it would be improved. ;-)

Interesting! Your making an entire series out of this one? You've got my attention :-D
Comments from author:
Thanks. And this is actually the second story in the "Dracula's Gift" series, as I noted in the opening notes. The first story in the series is 'Destiny Rolled Snake Eyes."
