That was spot on, I could see that actually happening to Chuck, good job.

Better that Xander has that conversation with Buffy than Chuck has to have it with his handlers - I suspect they would be less forgiving.

This was lots of fun! I simply adore the idea of Xander and Chuck being related. I loved the whole plot in this with Chuck and Xander and their jobs brilliantly mixing together :) Very interesting, not to mention curious, that the Intersect had a vampire listed as a Ring member. Hmm... I also thought that everyone was perfectly in character (the shows blended real well) and that they were all very well written.

Love the sense of symmetry between the beginning and ending lines of this story. Very well done.

Thanks for the fun read. Not enough Chuck/BTVS stories. Considering it should be a close mix to Stargate with the Xander/Jack son/father dynamic, the same should be here for Xander/Chuck in the brothers/cousins/friends dynamic that leads to fun and plot bunnies in abundance.

All the characters seemed written within their role and flowed properly like it would if this were the show. Would have liked more just for things like the obvious call from the General when Casey and Sarah go digging into Xander's background, the reveal of Casey being the military man Xander swapped placed with one Halloween, Xander's reaction/dealing with Jeff and Lester, any of the other BTVS getting involved and pulled into the dealings in Burbank. Just lots and lots of fun stuff to see and play with. Also, wouldn't it be a blast to have a Council version of the Intersect, or even have the Intersect have info from the Initiative in there that gets stumbled upon.

Like I said, lots of plot bunnies out there. Thanks for the fun and if you get the chance, more would be greatly appreciated and enjoyed.

Really fun story. I hope you write more in this universe. Sarah and Casey are in for a surprise when they run a background check on Xander, providing you don't use the majority of the Season 8 BTVS comics storyline. Xander undoubtedly has a very thick, heavily redacted file, as do all of the other Scoobies. Not to mention, most likely they'll get orders from Beckman to 'STAY AWAY!!!! FAR, FAR AWAY!' from Xander and his people. And yes, Casey is going to grunt and glare even more when Xander, Chuck and Morgan team up.
