Review of chapter "The Almost Right Word" from FallenGods
Review:
She shouldn't worry there seem to be more than a few people that can't tell an apostrophe and apocalypse apart especially when they think it's misplaced. Fun fic very easy to picture the events.

I think Dawn earned an important lesson here too. Translate while sober!
Comments from author:
Actually, I think the lesson she learned was don't ask Sherlock for advice about drugs... but 'translate while sober' will probably stick with her as well.

Such fun! You've got the Watson and Holmes voices from the BBC series down perfectly, and I can see them both interacting with Dawn in just this sort of fashion.

Hehe!! I loved the dialogue between Dawn and Sherlock, and Watson's POV was really well done too. Great little ficlet - I just kinda wish there was more...:( Anyhoo, thanks for writing!!
Comments from author:
I can't promise more, but I can't say there won't be either. (I'm often as surprised as anyone else where I end up during Fic A Day.)

I've only seen the first three episodes of the 21st Century Holmes series. It looks interesting. Likewise this story. Good start. Can't wait to see where this leads.
You also could take this chapter verbatim, except for changing two names (substitute House for Holmes and Wilson for Watson) and it would be the start of a completely different , but equally interesting story. [Sorry, that was the oxycodone talking. :) ]
Comments from author:
So far, there are only three episodes of Sherlock, though there are another three that are in production for release next year. Given which stories they've picked (the episode titles are announced as A Scandal in Belgravia, The Hounds of Baskerville, and The Reichenbach Fall) it should continue to be interesting...
Sadly, I've only ever seen a few episodes of House, so I can't say that I will be dropping Dawn (or anyone else) in on House and Wilson anytime soon.
