Hn, Dru never really does anything particularly evil and it does go against reason that she would want buffy to remember something that could only make her stronger, yet she is definitely actively attempting to make Buffy remember Tepin's life. Only way i can figure that is if she wants Buffy to know about the goa'uld for some reason.

Hi,
Only now found this fic. I'm more of a Buffy/Daniel shipper but I could see Jack.
You've created an interesting plot. Good writing. I hope to see more.

Ohhh I've got a small heartache that I'm left hanging just when things were getting really good! I do hope you post again soon like maybe today (wink wink). I can't wait to read more...and Jack is sure so simpatico...the way you're writing him, he sure is right for our Buffy. Also thank you so much for this funny, sexy, remarkable story! Continue the adventure please!

Aw *grin* thank you so much!
Not today, lol, but soon (certainly sooner than this post took to get up).
I hope Jack is coming across as Jack, its my first time writing him, but I see him as someone who really would get along with Buffy.

Wonderful update! I'm glad you're still working this one. Thanks for sharing!
Um, what exactly happened here? 2 run of the mill vampires take down Buffy with very little effort? Where did she suddenly lose her Slayer powers and all of her years of fighting experience? I must have missed that part. If she's this helpless in a fight, she shouldn't be allowed out of the house, much less be patrolling cemeteries at night. I suspect this is a set-up for her big strong man to ride in bravely on a white horse and save the "helpless damsel in distress"...
Comments from author:
Nah, there is more to the story that was revealed in that particular scene.
If you read forward, it isn't explained explicitly, but a pretty big hint is given. They also aren't run of the mill vampires.
I do realise it comes off that way, which is what I was going for at the time.
Though, as I believe it was said in the show at one point (by Spike explaining how he killed two slayers) every slayer has her bad days and every slayer just reaches a point where she just doesn't want to fight anymore-- which isn't the case here, but it is not out of the question that Buffy could be taken down by two vampires.
