Regarding the change of dissertation name: I love it! It makes Blair's MA thesis with enhanced senses and sentinel stuff plausible denial, with Blair switching to a more sociological topic for the PHD in Anthropology (the applied science being the archeology and in many schools they mix Anthro in as combined study with sociology or at least recognize that they have common ground).

I liked that you had Methos' interaction cause a positive AU moment, and that his personality is such that he let go why at one time he had a calling with enhanced senses and afterward he did not. You can't copywrite a title, but I still think that Blair would have picked a different title or a slightly different title due to the fact that we know the term "Thin Blue Line" from a book published in 1965. Many other authors have done this. Just go to amazon.com and put in "thin blue line" to see variations on this title.
Comments from author:
To be truthful I wasn't totally satisfied with the name of Blair's dissertation so I took a moment to hopefully come up with a few changes to it. Please let me know what you think. Is it too cheesy? Oh and thanks for the positive feedback. I hadn't really planned any of the changes to Sentinel and/or HL Universe, they just jumped out at me so I'm glad that you like what changes I did make and that they were believable. Well as believable as a fictional universe could be.
