The muse gets what the muse wants, but so far she's been nice to me and hasn't given me any plot bunnies for this particular pairing nor any ideas for expanding on this story. I never say never, though, because I can't predict the future. Who knows what will happen once I have more time to spend on writing fan fiction?

Interesting. Worth expanding. Sometime during the series when they were in the high school they referred to some of Giles' magical contacts that were a bit on the mysterious side, rather than base a whole episode from an incident in his life. This makes the situation quite plausible without making any big changes in continuity. Thanks for sharing.
