That last bit almost made me want to see the film just for David.

However, I must say that I liked your ambiguous statement, "and not much was known about him or where he came from," as it could be fodder for chameleon arch, or some other kind of clone/son of the Doctor.

An excellent job of demonstrating a character filled with self-loathing, acting on avarice but still with enough stamina, skill and smarts to get by... even when self-impaired.

It's a good film. Nothing epic or anything, but a solid hour an a half of entertainment nonetheless. And totally worth it just for the parts with David (leather pants and all).

Hehe, that was more me being too lazy to produce anymore of a back story than I needed to. Though I think I read a fic where Peter actually turned out to be the Doctor, just stuck in a parallel universe!

He's not greedy so much as really screwed up. And self-impairment seems to be his modus operandi.

Good fic. I especially liked the end part with Angel. For a moment, I thought it was Spike, curiosity roused or something.

I confess, I haven't seen the remake yet. But then again, nothing can compare to the original Fright Night.

I can't make any claims as to which is better since I haven't seen the original. But this one amused me greatly :D
