Ooh, I liked this... a lot!! The stand-off between Xander and Mac was really well done and I'm super curious about the actual crime scene, and who/what the victim(s) were? Was a Slayer killed? Someone connected to the Council? A random vampire/demon killing?

Anyhoo, great little fic!!
