Review of chapter "Restoration" from RedCalypso
Review:
Great series. I do think that Buffy should have let the officer have it both barrels verbally. Otherwise, it's just like the warden, getting away with something just because he can.

Review:
Excellent story. I hope you continue.
Comments from author:
Thank you. I have a little more written, and really need to get back to at least finish the next story. Hopefully once I've got my thesis out of the way, I will find the time to do so.

Holy Mother Goddess. I keep reading this series because I love the way you blend just enough angst with just enough light. Great Chapter

Review of chapter "Returning to the scene of the crime" from Cutiepie
Review:
Too short, too short. The chapters all feel so VERY short. Probably because I want it ALL and I want it NOW (spoiled brat? Me?). That said, thank you so much for the quick updates. I don't know how I would stand it if you only updated once a week or something.

Review of chapter "Reception committee" from Cutiepie
Review:
ACK! That cliffhanger is even worse than the previous one! I don't want to jump to conclusions, but it sure sounds like something is "rotten in Denmark" (or the West County prison, as the case may be). And it doesn't sound "normal human" rotten either. I have the feeling that Giles' "enhancements" are going to become pretty important quite soon.
Comments from author:
Well, as Buffy says - there are demons everywhere. You just have to know how to spot them !

And the PTB have a subtle sense of humour when it comes to arranging someone to be in the right place at the right right time. Or the wrong place at the wrong time, perhaps ...

More on its way, :-)

Review of chapter "Reflections" from Cutiepie
Review:
I put it off for as long as I could, but I finally had to just give in. You see, when a story's author is a mediocre writer, cliffhangers don't bother me too much. But when the author is GOOD, I hate to read anything that isn't complete because the cliffhangers eat at me. So, I tried to ignore when this story showed up on my "unread, tracked" story list. I just knew that I would be banging my head against the desk when I got to the not-end and found myself frustrated by not having more to read. *bang* *bang* *bang* *bang* Post more soon, please? I am weak, and starving for more good fic to read.

More on the way, I promise!

Review of chapter "First glimpse" from PATM
Review:
Finally chiming in with a huzzah! for the continuation of this series. Angel has Zilch on Giles for regrets. I read the previous stories and Giles journey is an open narrative. The time switches are fun to read as I love back story narrative done well

Review of chapter "The weight of despair" from JoeDineen
Review:
Can't believe I am your only reviewer on this story, So I am going to rec it.
May be people are mad at you for not continuing some other series :)

I do look forward to more.
Comments from author:
Well, I hope they're not that mad at me ...

Thank you for your rec. I'm glad someone is reading and liking this. I have a long list of things I need to get back to, but the thesis is currently top of the list, so I'm not working on anything else at the moment. This one's been written for a while!

Review of chapter "One friend, at least." from JoeDineen
Review:
Ya know it might have been a better but darker story if it was not recounted as a flashback.
It is very good none the less.
Comments from author:
A different story, perhaps ... The 'frame' was a major challenge I set myself when writing in this setting - having set the style and established the story within a story approach, I needed to follow through in the subsequent peices to maintain my continuity. It proved to be an interesting writing exercise, as it demands a certain level of non-linear thinking, a heap of forshadowing, and a solid overall plot line to carry it through. A bit like writing a Columbo episode, where you know who the murderer is right from the start ...
