'Like demon moths to the flames of hell'. I loved that! Very clever! Very good descriptive phrase! So Xander's roomates are back huh? Good! As described in the scene where Xander had to defend himself against a bunch of homophobic would-be rapists, Xander needs evey edge he can get. Xander has been in AnitaVerse for six months and he hasn't changed, but obviously the Soldier and Hyena are back. Will the Hyena ping on the Missouri supernaturals' radars? If he feels like a were to them, how will they react to him? When and HOW will Spike be arriving? How would he find Xander anyhow? How will he react to the enhanced Xander? I like this story and I look forward to future updates.

thank you, i'm so glad you're enjoying it! and i know, it kinda plays into the plot for a minute later, but i could just see xander thinking about it and getting this totally evil grin on his face when he first decided to use it. i'm still writing the next chapter, but hopefully i'll have it out in the next week or so, i've got a ton of stories i'm working on (or should be working on)

i tend to like the solider!/hyena!xander fics, like seeing the different ways the two can influence his actions and sending him to the anita-verse gives him a good excuse to exploit both. and yeah, let's hear it for stupid drunks lol. glad you're liking it so far, thanks for reading :)

Are the tests only physical or meta as well? Of course out in the boonies they probably don't have all the latest and greatest, but once he gets closer to St. Louis...

pretty much just physical, holy water and crosses and blood tests for lycanthropy. as you said, they're out in the boonies lol he gets a whole new set of probs when he gets to st. louis (cause i'm evil like that lol)

So far, I'm thoroughly amused. Might want to skimp on the 'human' tests later though. Xander did have shark?-dna spliced in, though the amount that actually affected him varies by the story. :P

i actually kinda forgot about that ep, tend to do that unless it's brought up in a fic and serves a purpose. but no, xander wont' be putting up with that kind of thing again, at least not to that extent. glad you're liking the story so far though, thanks for reading :)
