The Forgotten Realms are interesting. (One sided?) banter during combat might be appropriate. Xander seems happier when he talks, especially as post-battle stress relief.

Definitely like the story so far... though i have to wonder, is a rogue really the best class for captain considering it puts him in the spotlight? and the story is called "In the Shadows... I like the quiet" emphasis on the "in the shadows" part. Anyway, i'm really enjoying the story so far and can hardly wait to see the next update.

Rogue was the best class for him when he started this little adventure, he is evolving to fit into the situation as best he can, as for the Name, it was set just after the Episode of that quote and it felt fitting.

I can't wait for an update to this, I love it.
4e = bad boardgame... 3.5 = at least they worked out the kinks from 3e and every character doesn't have to have the same 5 class feats or be useless.
But I prefer 2e or Pathfinder these days if I'm playing any of the D&D variants.

Pathfinder is fun, 2e is way to complicated for my entertainment... but in the last pathfinders game i got a bit burn happy, ended up melting a dragon with my Child of the Phoenix (Cleric of Flame/Healing.) after that the GM decided i needed to not play that anymore... hasn't stopped him from using them, but i am just not allowed to play it anymore.
Thanks, your own Adventurers and Adversaries, was part of the reason i actually even considered doing this, it's a lot of fun.
