Amusing conversation with Paladine. They should probably break the curse on Jesse before he becomes too stupid to live. I really need to go back and read the books because I don't remember Caramon being that stupid. Actually Giles messing up names of things after hearing it was annoying and seemed out of character as well. Ah well, part of me is still interested to see where the story is going. The other part is annoyed because I think this is the first time I'm actually hoping and looking forward to Jesse dying.

Caramon wasn't stupid. Neither is Jesse. But both are slow in the sense of them requiring much more time to come to the correct conclusion. Jesse will never become too stupid to live. He's making mistakes because he's trying to keep up with his friends, Caramon just let Raistlin do his thinking for him after a time. Xander and Willow won't let Jesse do that.

As for Giles, he won't be making the same mistakes again. He did gets some things wrong in season one and early season two of Buffy, which is what I'm basing his character on.

Jesse will learn to change. He just needs to find where he fits in with everyone else.
