An unusual take on the Halloween episode. I really do like it. I would love to see a follow up. Regardless of the fact that Father Mulcahy would be quite old, he of all people would probably be most open to things like the supernatural. I think at this point in his life, Xander is a very wounded, insecure person, and a caring old man who he could help, but who could also be a gentle influence in a very confusing time in his life.... It would be a very good thing for them both... I just keep imagining all the good places this could go.
Just a thought.
Thanks for an unusual idea well executed,
Blue

Good story, very insightful. Certainly points out a very disturbing question: How can we send our young, that are not even legally allowed to vote, into a WAR? That does not say anything good about the 'human race'.
Thanks for a thought provoking read.

I am not sure if I should rate this #10 or #! (as both are the best rateing , dependant on veiwpoint) But while the story wasnt that much, the final lines make it noteable. I dont know if the Father survived to the milenia (it depends on if he was based on the movie or series) but the idea of Xander looking him (or Hawkeye) up and "learing about the good work they did" is something that might be an interesting character piece. As i said the last two lines are what made this great for me, as they reflect the tragity that mankind too often has visited
Thank you

A good read, but I think you could have had a touch more of the past in the story... Not necessarily the reaction to the mirror, but the aftermath of that.
Still, as I say, good story - And in a way, its nice to see a Mash crossover without Hawkeye as a main sub-character.
