Review of chapter "The Choice" from JasonBarnett
Review:
it doesn't work for me. A win for the good guys results in pretty much everyone in the world dying? I could never view the Powers That Be as anything vaguely resembling good guys from that point on.

Edit: but if life and death don't matter then what is the point of the balance?
Comments from author:
I'm sad it doesn't, but I thank you for leaving me a message. As for the PTB, to me they always seemed more about balance than actual good. It's like the question 'Will you do what's good or will you do what's right?'

Review of chapter "Creating Balance" from debbie
Review:
Interesting to think the twilight world came about because of Riley and Xander trying to find a way to help their world. It seems like they should have done more to curb the interference of the powers, especially since that's why Buffy wanted input to the restart.
Comments from author:
Originally I had the idea because of some base personalities matched up in both, I just needed a way to make it mesh so that it didn't seem as if I was grasping. There will be some definite character development to bring out the lesser known Twi though.

The Powers were tricky. They're God-like beings, so they see technicolor while Humans see black and white. If you catch my drift. It's not their fault, really. They helped because the Powers probably would have created a world just like the Buffy world again. Just without shrimp.

Also, since I am more inclined the Powers are in for balance rather than good, they stuck by their rule of 'one Slayer - one world full of monsters.' That being the case, when Kendra, then later Faith, was called baddies started getting smart which lead to harder battles. Then there were innumerable Slayers, therefore more Demons were needed. Unfortunately, that killed everything.

Review:
A few thousand years had passed? You could say a few million, or billion if they wanted a proper reset :)
I wonder where the powers will place Xander and Riley and what they will allow them to remember?
I'm not surprised that Xander came up with the sparkly vampires, it is a really strange idea. I am kind of suprised they made the vampires so strong though, but I guess they were going for balance.
Comments from author:
I initially had an idea for Riley and Xander at that precise time period, however I think I might change it. Don't tell anyone, but I'm writing this on my iPod while bumming WIFI. I'm not exactly sure when I will get back to writing.

Yup, balance is the key. Which will play a huge part later. Muhahahaha. As for remembering.... Well. That's a secret for now.
