Review of chapter "chapter two" from ReflectionsOfReality
Interesting start.

Some ideas about some possible crosses particularly if you continue being as free with cannon as you are.
1 Golden Age Cybertron from the Transformers series before the Autobots and Decepticons formed factions.
2 Oa from the Green Lantern comics, either pre or post Green Lantern Corps
3 Krypton within months of its destruction with a chance of a few extra crew members
4 Or the ultimate upgrade planet the Lombaxes' Fastoon from the Ratchet and Clank series... just think a race of tinkerers to whom the laws of physics and thermodynamics are not even mere suggestions.

Hope to see more soon,

Review of chapter "chapter two" from Darkwind
Hi first i would like to say i am glad that you choose Andromeda as a start, too few stories have that cross over, i agree with some of the previous reviews about detail on technology as i believe it is essential to have a basis however it should never override the story and character development.

One word of warning though with crossovers different TV series have set conditions for traveling i.e Babylon 5 have hyperspace however you can not travel within it without the hyperspace beacons. The same can be said with Andromeda slip space works because the slip space already existed in that universe, most likely it wont be in any alternate universes.

Overall well done on the start and i will enjoy reading more.

Review of chapter "chapter two" from darkKnight
Interesting beginning. Please continue! I find your emphasis upon the characters far preferable to technobable.
Comments from author:
Thanks. i do feel that the emphasis of tech knowledge over character development is one of the main faults of many otherwise grate sci fi stories (not saying that i don't like some good technobable now and again).

Review of chapter "chapter two" from eriktheviking
Well written but a bit light on detail. Too much happens off-screen as it were. Perhaps more detail on Athena, as a Battlecruiser she should be more powerful than Andromeda.
Comments from author:
thanks for the review.i agree that i was a little light on detail and am thinking of perhaps eventually revisiting this and extending it.
The Flame of Athena was specifically meant to not be more powerful then the Andromeda. the Athena is actually a lot smaller then the Andromeda, and it looks like the ships from Stargate, so i copied the terminology used in AoT when referring to their ships.

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from eriktheviking
An interesting crossover that can easily fit into canon background for the Borg.

A couple of points: Nietzscheans not Neichiens.

Missing letter: "They had revers(E) engineered alien.."

Perhaps stay in the same, relative, area and expand on the Stargate continuity in another galaxy with ties back to the Stargate galaxies. And, of course, don't limit yourself to much by focusing on space alone the are any number of potential crossovers with planet bound series.

Review of chapter "chapter two" from Chan
Hmmm... if they managed to land in a reality where they still managed to scare the borg I'm reduced to amusement at the idea of Seven Of Nine looking for a corner to hide in when Alex/thena encounter Voyager.
Hmmm... alt dim were Alex Harris did in fact join the High Guard mass confusion as two A. Harris appear?
Anyway good start looking forward to what happens next.

Review of chapter "chapter two" from Xovervore
Whilst an interesting premise, I have to point out a major problem. What you have in the first two chapters could easily be classed as simply an Andromeda/Star Trek cross. The teleport experiment could have been done by anyone - there was no need to invoke the name of SG1. Indeed, it is more likely to be some other universe, as SG1 already have several types of teleportation device such as Asgard beam and Goa'uld ring device. Secondly, the character named Alexander Harris is simply that, someone named Alexander Harris. He too could come from any universe (as an OC). There is nothing that indicates he is Xander of the Buffyverse.
So, unless one ties the "SG1" incident in with some other event that arises from it, involving SG1 characters, then it is not an SG1 story.
Comments from author:
well first off thanks for the review to explain about my version of Xander he isn't exactly the Xander Harris from Buffy. first he has spent a long time on death row, and no one would be the same after that. second this is from an AU buffyverse where gangs on PCP wasn't just a codeword.
about the Stargate angle yes they WILL have better methods of teleportation but as i said in the story the experiment was performed before the start of the Stargate program, I moved the start of the series to a later date. yes there is little content of Stargate in this story, the next story however will detail how the Stargate program becomes the start of the commonwealth.

Review of chapter "chapter two" from WereGargoyle
For me, i was thinking B5 - Right before the Battle for Babylon Five. Throw the Vorlon's precious "Circle" out of whack. Save the Alexander and then free Earth a year in advance. It would be an easy way for Athena to analyze the Shadow tech taken from Mars and Ganymede. Athena could also easily make sure Clark's "Scorched Earth" action with the GODs didn't work.

Second, and no offense to the fans, but I never really got into the "reimaged' BSG and I especialy hated how it ended. So, maybe have the Athena show up over New Caprica before the Pegasus is lost. Athena vs the Cylons aka "Borg Lite" - Round One (DING DING)

Review of chapter "chapter two" from ChaosCarlos
I like it. I like it very much.

As for where they end up, well I'm slightly partial to ST: Voyager. If that's after Seven is freed from the Borg then you could have her and all other Borg react to the ship, Alexander and Thena like how the Daleks react to the Doctor; Completely devoid of all emotion, but still by some quirk of assimilation or base coding the mere thought of meeting them again somehow brings about feelings of aboslute terror.

Janeway's reaction could be intrigue or feeling chills down her spine at what could possibly terrify the Borg.

However I also like the idea of an Alt. Universe SG-verse where Alexander Harris could show his face on Earth again without being thrown back in jail automatically, possibly ending up in the SGC playing up the part of the arrogant 'alien' ship's 1st Officer, snapping his fingers in Kinsey's face saying "I'll have what he's drinking, but make it double! Chop-chop!"

Anyhoo, whatever way it goes I'm sure I'll like it!
Comments from author:
i like the thought that the Borg would react to Thena and Alexander like that, i might just use that.

My vote is for them to end up in the time of Kirk and Spock. They were more open minded then Picard.
