please rematch. Can't wait to see Buffy win. He is so underestimating slayers. especially Buffy who fought different sort and sizes of creatures and people. His city, the Slayer protect the world and when danger comes there is no his city, it's the world and borders disappears.

so please a rematch

Oh and let Batman(batgirl) bites the dust, Buffy losing Yeah right.

Really well done crossover. Love to see that rematch though. I don't honestly see how he figures that Cassandra would win. Particularly given that it's Buffy. She has years of experience fighting supernaturally strong monsters. Maybe one of the new slayers, but not Buffy or Faith. Okay the new slayers probably yes, but they do have speed on their side. Really well trained fighters won't telegraph their moves to her.

Nicely done! I like the fact that this version of Batman actually acknowledged the supernatural without liking it.

Review:
I was this close to launch in a tirade about this fic being another Buffy-Sue fic, but the last line made a good impact on me; yeah, Batman is very invested in protecting Gotham, but he also cares for his family, and he's smart enough to know when to fold them.

But of course, Buffy really revealed too much about her and her team capabilities, with the BW line, and being the crazy prepared paranoid freak he is, Batman's gonna very prepared the next time they meet.

See ya!!.

Sounds like they both know more than would be expected about the other. I just hope they know that neither is likely to back off :)

Buffy ramps up her ability as needed. Cassandra - or any other human- really would never have a chance. The speed of a slayers reflexes alone makes her virtually unbeatable by a human. That is one reason I never had any patience with any normal human fighting a vamp. they have no chance and to claim otherwise is moronic.
Comments from author:
If vampires always used their speed in addition to their strength it would be true that normal humans wouldn't stand a chance. The thing is that since most humans barely put up a struggle, vampires get lazy and sloppy and are subject to any number of self-defense moves specifically geared towards faster and stronger opponents. True dedicated hunters would take advantage of that.

Review:
Yeah Batman is so out of the councils league logistics wise it's not even funny. He has so much heavy magical protection at his call that it's a joke to compare.. Literal gods and their children and Avatars.

This is more like a Apex predator on a Galatic scale meets a Alpha Predator from a closed Eco-system.

But I'm sure Buffy and friends will wank through the literal Army of Galatic powers that is the Justice League and their founding member that is the Batman.

By 2morrow they'll know his identity and be on first name terms with him talking to him like an equal.
Comments from author:
While it is true that Batman can call upon magical backup when needed, they would be unlikely to help him keep other hero groups out of Gotham even though they themselves abide by a gentleman's agreement to not interfere unless asked. It would be a selfish, self-serving reason which is something The league is not known for doing.

Buffy has no desire to wade through The Justice League unless it would be to stop an apocalypse and unless Dr. Fate, The Spectre or Zantana were involved, even Superman would fall to Willow's magic.

Buffy already knows his identity as she indicated by calling him Mr. BW.

This is good. Is there going to be a squeal? But we all know that the Slayer will win.

LOL. Good luck with the idea that Cassandra could beat Buffy. Cool story, though.

EDIT: Read the backstory on her, and it sounds like she actually could be a pretty good challenge. If she had Slayer powers, she'd be practically unstoppable in hand-to-hand.
Comments from author:
The reason I chose Cassandra was because she at least stood a chance against a Slayer due to her Body Language Reading ability. That is until the Slayer sped up thus giving her less time to form a response. With practice I would expect her to improve against a Slayer. Whether she could consistently win would be another matter. Against Buffy it would be problematic as Spike once pointed out, Buffy mixes things up by being innovative in a fight.
