Review of chapter "Epilogue - One Month Later" from Riniko
Review:
Greatly enjoyed the story, even if I got around to reading them a little later than some. Hermione came out of this much better than I thought she would,, I thought for sure she would lose the baby with all the abuse she took. Well, I will be on to the next story to read soon.
Comments from author:
Thanks for reading! And I appreciate the review. I'm also not averse to recommendations. :D

Review of chapter "Ch. 25 - Long Distance Calls Again, part 1" from Riniko
Review:
Oh Selina is soo bad to Brucie-boy. :)
And Hermione, I don't know what to say but, are you insane girl.
Comments from author:
The 'Cat Tales' Selina is a lot more interesting than modern Frank-Miller-affected Catwoman. That's largely because all women in Frank Miller stories are saints, prostitutes, or murderers. Or murdering prostitutes. And you have to work like heck to find a saint in his stories.

Review of chapter "Ch. 24 - After-Action Report" from Riniko
Review:
Worries me that Hermione is working so hard to avoid a full medical exam, does she already know the truth? Or is she trying to keep from knowing?
Comments from author:
Something like that. But you're right: she is dodging that exam.

Review of chapter "Chapter Twenty – Alex at the Burrow" from Riniko
Review:
Been sort of thinking that Hermione may be pregnant and that the part about not all returning meaning that she loses the baby.
Comments from author:
It sounds like you're reading this story pretty intently. I appreciate it.

Review:
Now I understand why all my friends, serious writers in their own right, rave about your stories. I've gotta take a break before I read on, but I really enjoyed this even though I'd never even heard of Alex and I'm not a huge DC comics fan. You captured very distinct personalities for everyone and your fights were quite epic.

Well done.

Comments from author:
Thanks! I admit that I am no longer a huge DC Comics fan. In the 60's I adored them. Then I slowly watched as Marvel moved past them in storytelling and creativity. Then in the 80's, they still had some great stuff, like the famous 'Judas Arc' of Teen Titans. But in the 90's they tried to make EVERYTHING get darker and edgier (or Darker And Edgier as they say over at TV Tropes), and they let Frank Miller and Dan Didio ruin some of their best characters. I detest what they did to Catwoman, so if you were ever a fan of her, go read 'Cat Tales' at Chris Dee's website to get classic Catwoman. (Admittedly, not everything at DC is junk these days. They still have *some* good writers. I will read anything by Gail Simone, for example.)

Review of chapter "Epilogue - One Month Later" from Grovtech
Review:
I just finished re-reading this. It was fun reviewing how Cross-overs and Alex Mack developed from this. It's still one of my favorites!

Oh, I did see Alex hasn't mentioned the Teen Titans again although considering Grover, and Hanna she does have a teen team. Jack and his crew is just support! ;)

Grover
Comments from author:
Thanks. I hadn't planned on writing any sequels, but my muse beat the snot out of me until I relented.

And Alex's team is only 'teen' if you omit Toxie and Az and Tsurara and Sam Carter and Bruce. And Shar. And the SRI Orphans. But Alex isn't going to be a teen much longer, and Grover is older than she is, and Hanna isn't all that far from twenty.

Review of chapter "Chapter One – The Prophecy" from djhardim
Review:
I was reading the first chapter again and have a question

"THE GATES WILL OPEN. THE CREATURES WILL BE FREED. THE MISTRESS D’LAZZA WILL RELEASE HER ARMIES ONTO THE WORLD. NO MAN OF WOMAN BORN MAY STOP HER. "

What about someone like Connor Kent (Superboy Post Crisis)?
Comments from author:
There are about a score of holes in the 'no man of woman born' prophecy, starting with how Shakespeare got around it: a C-section. A woman could do it. A non-human. A clone. So Connor Kent IS an option (other than the problem that turns up on the first trip). You could even go with the main character of 'World of Null-A' because he's not a normal-born human but he's not *technically* a clone either.

Review:
a good story with few typos and no discernible grammatical errors thank you.
Comments from author:
Thanks! In general, my stuff has a fairly low error rate, because I write well in advance, and then edit it in multiple passes.

I finally found a place where I could register to say how much I like your stories. :)

This one is one of my favorites and kept me up way past my bedtime last night. I like the way characters from many different universes interact, the team dynamics among them, the different reactions when asked for help (from Buffy's "let's go" to some people's need for a lot of convincing, and from Batman's constant mistrust to Alex inviting home a stranger who just showed up out of nowhere), etc. I especially liked the "calling home" chapters, because my favorite part of crossovers is seeing how people from different universes see each other and describe others' worlds to their friends.

I also liked that I was able to see some surprises coming (and feel smug about it :P), but was still completely surprised in places. For example, I guessed the reason for Hermione's nausea around the time you started showing more symptoms. And I guessed the way the "not all will come back" part of the prophesy would be resolved around the time Bellatrix was gloating at Hermione. I also guessed that the individual opponents were illusions right away (but didn't realize how substantial the illusions were), because if it was so easy to pull people from all those dimensions, they'd have demon problems too. And it's easier to make an illusion that to find the originals anyway. But I had assumed that "Team 2" was just the group that flew in to steal the crystal until the moment I saw the actual Team 2's PoV. And in the middle of action I didn't pay attention to Buffy passing something to Alex and assumed she was still using the Sword of Gryffindor until she flew at Willow with the Slayer weapon.

I also liked how you made all team members equally important despite the different power levels of the universes they come from. And how each group tries to find the evidence of others in their own worlds, or even to look up the equivalent people. (It would be interesting to see what the equivalent people in each universe are actually like.)

So thanks again for writing this great story. (I also wanted to thank you for writing the Whateley stories that gave me weeks of excellent reading material, but that forum's registration failed twice before I gave up. But is there some other place I can thank you for all the work you did there?)
Comments from author:
Thanks for reading! And feel free to drop me some recommendations if you're so inclined. :-)

The registration problems at Whateley are unfortunately conncted with the other problems, and we can no longer post stories except by shoving them in the forums, which is utterly sub-optimal.

Review of chapter "Epilogue - One Month Later" from (Current Donor)deiticlast
Review:
Just reread this. Quick question: Sybil's prophecy. Is that a lead in to a sequel about Buffy and Willow? Possibly having been reincarnated as Harry's and Ginny's kids? Or am I just reading and hoping too much into that?
Comments from author:
Sybil's latest prophecy is really a stub for any story you want to go read that covers Harry and Ginny's kids going off to Hogwarts with Hermione and Ron's kids. I have seen too many of those fanfics, and so I just don't have any interest in writing one of them. It just struck me as amusing to have Sibyl drop one more massive prophetic bomb on everyone, and have her be blissfully unaware, as usual.

Review:
So I started reading cat tales, oh my goodness, so hilarious, thanks for the recommendation!
Comments from author:
It's a real tragedy that DC wrote Bats and Catwoman the way they did, and Chris Dee's work is just on a website.

Maybe DC felt that Joe Quesada was getting all the attention for stupid editorial decisions, so they stepped up their game. :-)

Review:
So, do you happen to know if James May (aka Captain Slow) is any relation to Brian May of Queen, who is also a astrophysicist? Their faces look similar and they have similar hair although Brian's is much curlier.
Comments from author:
According to Ask.com, they are not related. But that answer only affirms that they are not siblings.

Review of chapter "Ch. 50 - The Best Laid Plans" from DieselDriver
Review:
Saying the magic phrase, "What else could go wrong?" is just as bad as those 3 idiots on Top Gear saying "How hard can it be?". Yeah, I know they aren't really idiots, but they sure do a good job of acting like that.

My favorite saying is "Rule 1, don't die".
Comments from author:
"What does this button do?"
"What's the worst that could happen?"

As for Top Gear, have you noticed that all three of them have a specific weakness that the producers ALWAYS target? If they have to work together on a project, they always get assigned to work on the aspect at which they always do badly.

I like:
Rule 1: You can't win.
Rule 2: You can't break even.
Rule 3: You can't quit the game.
(You probably already know these are an 'interpretation' of the 3 Law of Thermodynamics.)

I LOVE this part!!! Woo Hoo! Go Alex.
Comments from author:
Thanks. I was, of course, building up to that for the entire story. That whole side quest at GRingotts wasn't really a side quest.
