Review of chapter "Curiosity and the Wolf (Firekeeper Saga/SG-1)" from (Current Donor)Sulien
Review:
Poor Daniel, he's always the one with the target painted on his backside. *g* And this is most definitely the way Firekeeper would handle the situation and I greatly enjoyed her interactions with Blind Seer. Thank you so much for bringing together two of my favorite fandoms!
Comments from author:
Thanks so much for the feedback over here as well, Sulien. (I just saw your review on LJ - I finally got that to work *laughs*) And I was more than happy to bring these to fandoms together - even if it was a bit of a hit and run crossover!

Review of chapter "So Many Kinds Of Love (Star Wars)" from valdimarian
Review:
Just a small thing that bugged me at the end, and you'll probably get a few of these, the Millennium Falcon is actually a HEAVILY modified "Corellian YT-1300 light freighter" that's been retrofitted about a dozen times, and tweaked probably twice as many as that.
Comments from author:
*sigh* I knew there would be problems with this (I wasn't going to post it, just send it to my sister - for whom it was a giftfic - but then she bugged me into putting it up *shakes head*) - it's why I made that note at the beginning about my lack of knowledge in the fandom. I only really knew that they made adjustments to their ship, I really know nothing about the names of ships in that universe.

I'll tweak that sentence though - it is a quick fix, I think. Thank you for reading and reviewing, valdmarian.

Review of chapter "Complicated Waters (SG-1/BtVS)" from MarcusRowland
Review:
That works - Vala does seem the sort to like to hang out with people like Buffy.
Comments from author:
The idea came from another of the Wishlist prompts, but I think it rather works as well (I've never written Vala before). It's why I always like doing them (and tend to grab prompt or challenges from other communities once Wishlist is over) - it's fun to write for people and dip into things I might not otherwise. Actually, I lately only tend to do Stargate fic through prompts.

Thanks for the review - and sorry for my meandering reply. *grins*

Review of chapter "Transference (BtVS/SGA)" from emrysgood
Review:
I kinda wish youd made this into an actual story. Im invested now! lol! Does she ever find Angel and the others? Does she go uber witch on the wolf the ram and the heart? The world may never know.
Comments from author:
Heh, it's funny, I had no pre-thought with this. I wrote this all for sulien in about two hours because I was sad I was done with Wishlist and hadn't done any for her(/him - I'm not actually sure the identity of the user name) and they had been so nice in reviewing for me that year.

I mean, I absolutely love that you like it so much but I really would have to put a lot of thought into it to build a real full story because this was just purely brain to keyboard to posting.

So, I'm afraid your right emrysgood - the world may never know. *laughs*

Review of chapter "Portents of Doom (Various Disney Princesses)" from CrystalBlaze
Review:
You know what? If these were the first Slayers, it's no wonder the patriarchal types came up with a lot of crap to cover the whole thing up...
Comments from author:
I didn't intend to make the Princesses slayers when I started writing but somehow I think that form doing fic on this site for so long almost anything I start typing morphs into a Buffy crossover. *laughs*

And if this was how the First Slayers were created - by Faries after a hostile take over, an assassination of male monarchy - patriarchy might try to sweep it under the carpet (make it secret and underground) once they had control again. And a threatening enough cover story including shamons forcing demons into a girl is almost disgusting enough not to question.

It certainly adds an odd twist to the Slayer tale. Thanks for taking the time to review.

Review of chapter "Portents of Doom (Various Disney Princesses)" from semkirk
Review:
Very well written story. Well crafted characters. I wish that the price hadn't been the death of all the men. My recollection of Aladdin at least, as a former street kid, was one who would have been more
flexible about the danger. Oh well, so be it. Good story, thank you
Comments from author:
My sister had the same note when she first read it - about Aladdin. But I would of felt a bit odd about making a single exception and I also somewhat reasoned it in my mind that in some of the sequel movies that Aladdin was very concerned with having his father-in-law approve of him. I know that is a bit flimsy but I also didn't want to leave Jasmine out so...*shrugs*

Glad you liked it despite that - I had fun with the Yuletide Pinch Hit prompt I was given (although I think I made the Good Fairies slayer-fy the Prinsesses *snort* - ah, crossover brain.) Thanks so much for reviewing.

Review of chapter "Transference (BtVS/SGA)" from liewiththetruth
Review:
I rarely read Willow-centric fic, but I love Lorne...

Anyways, this is fantastic!

Any chance you'll write more in this verse?
Comments from author:
Out of all the bits in this collection the Kit-centered Glee fic and this Lorne one (and possibly the Warehouse 13 Willow-Xander) are the ones that are sticking around, taking up space in my head and therefore have the highest probability of follow ups. I'm not guaranteeing anything since I have so many other stories in progress that I keep bouncing between, but....I have been thinking about them quite a lot.

Thanks so much for reading and reviewing, liewiththetruth - I appreciate the feedback. :)

Review:
nice :)
Comments from author:
*curtsies*

Faith and Snape are some high grade snark and sarcasm. *snorts* I think they would make a good team.

*dances around* Hope you've had a good holiday, Luna. :)

Review of chapter "Pulse (BtVS/HP)" from (Recent Donor)Luna
Review:
LOVE THIS! I like dark willow :D

And Squib Voldemort! That is a new concept!
Comments from author:
I have an odd fondness for DarkWillow. There is just something so paradoxically power drunk, focused, sinister, and oddly childlike about her when she is like that. It's actually very interesting to me - I think I'll have to write something else at some point that plays with it.

Thanks for reviewing this bit as well, Luna.

Review of chapter "That Time A Thing Happened (BtVS/SGA)" from (Recent Donor)Luna
Review:
no more star-crossed – hey, that would even apply for real this time,

HAHAHAHAHAHA I love it! Realistic and hilarious dialogue ;D
Comments from author:
I never really wrote for/about Xander at all until relatively recently, but it is surprisingly fun. *laughs*

And I truly appreciate the comment - because actually, for this bit, it was the dialogue in the beginning there that was in my head that started me off writing it. I just rolled along after that.

Thanks for commenting, Luna. :)

Review of story "Multitude" from (Recent Donor)Luna
Review:
Kit Giles is AWESOME!
Your words are lovely as always, and I enjoy the images they conjure (Puck & Artie with the thumbs-up), freeing Fred from Illyria, etc. Plus, Carlos at Hogwarts is SO COOL! hee. *nerdy laugh* As for Dawn & they flying school bus for super heroes...which one is that? My first thought is X-men, but that's a jet, not a bus. Or Magic School Bus (lol) but they're not super heroes.

I hope you continue the tales of Kit Giles in the future!
Comments from author:
Heh, the flying school bus was from this really random but surprising fun movie called "Sky High". It was a reference I put in honestly thinking the only person other than me that would get it would be my sister. *snorts*

And I have so many stories I really should be working on, but this one does keep calling to me. I really did shoot myself in the foot with sticking all the stuff that catches my own attention in it when I wrote it for someone else. There are all of these secondary storylines I could totally flesh out it I wanted to make this longer. The Fred and Spike dependency (and the mirroring to Dru), the slay team friendship born out of mutual break ups of Willow and Faith, Dawn at Sky High, Carlos at Hogwarts. And of course the utterly awesome Kit Giles at McKinley.

...that's all before they even get to investigating the potential hellmouth. *shakes head*

Anyways, thanks so much for reviewing the bit Luna. I appreciate the feeback.

Oh! Unrelated - but wanted to let you know that "Magic School Bus" totally made me snort my tea. I pictured Dawn and some elementary school class getting shrunk down and investigating the circulatory system or something. Damn, I miss that show. Fun times.

Review of chapter "Transference (BtVS/SGA)" from theraceskong
Review:
I've been enjoying all of these so far, but my favorite has to be the first one. I find Kit (and Carlos) to be so interesting, but so underused. So thanks for that. I would love to see more of that one if the muse strikes. Thanks for the great work.
Comments from author:
Aw, thank ya so much. It might be weird to say, but I was super proud of the Kit one when I wrote it. It felt bizarre to sit on it for awhile until I was supposed to post for Wishlist. Don't know if I'm going to do a follow up on it - I might, I have hard time letting some ideas go - but I really originally planned for these things to simply lie as prompt responses.

Thanks so much for reading and for your kind words theraceskong - I appreciate the feedback. :)

Review of chapter "Going Down (HP/BtVS)" from SariLane
Review:
I NEED more of the first story, and more of the Buffy/WH13 cross. They were so good. They were all good, but those two... so good. On to the next.
Comments from author:
Kit was a blast to write. Plus, that bit with the ceremony to transfer the body's ownership back over to Fred was stuck in my head, practically invading my dreams, until I wrote it down.

And with the WH13 one - there is something I found utterly utterly endearing about Willow-Xander friendship once they get all of the crushes or any sort of sexual tension out of the way. When it's all familiarity built on years and years of knowing the other person perhaps a bit too well. *laugh*

I really don't know if I'll do more with any of these bits. My mind does tend to go off at times *laughs* and I already have another series rolling from "One Moment At A Time" which was only supposed to be a another one of these small Wishlist fics. So, I do like to expand and don't tend to let things go when I think there is more story left to tell.

Anyways....thanks so much for leaving a review. I really appreciate getting feedback on these shorter pieces.

Review:
.......“All this-“ he waved an arm around, “is practically a movie. And if this were a movie you’d be the hero that just saved the day. So. I kissed you. It seemed appropriate at the time,” he explained simply.

-----brilliant!

Comments from author:
Ha ha. I've discovered this odd newfound appreciation for Andrew through writing him (for this and "Golden) that I never really had. He has this sweetness underneath it all.

Glad you liked it - I was a bit nervous about this one because I've never written Rodney before and he is a very distinct character. Thanks for taking the time to review, zephyrRS. :)

Thanks! Neville and Xander are great fun to write - bonding over bashing a snake/centipede to mush with a chair. A great way to make friends. *laughs*

Thanks so much for reviewing these bits.
