Review of chapter "Three" from CrystalBlaze
Review:
Interesting take on the cocept of the wish anomaly shown in an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation. And the wish-being leaving a black hole behind when he or she matures has GOT to be a better side effect than the Subpace Cascade Failure featured in the final episode, "All Good Things.."

I do feel that the Q will be watching what follows in amusement, as they are now the recipients of one Xander and William..

~~~~~~~
Addendum:
~~~~~~~

I mentioned that bit about the Q as I suspect the seperation of powers (science and magic) holds true all the way up to god-level. In short, you can weild divine power over the physical universe or supreme magic, but not both at once.

One of the Next Generation novels, Q-Squared I think it was, detailed the Galactic Barrier, Trelane, and the Heart of Chaos (a power the Q could not wield without utter madness). If that power was the magic of the Trekverses, it would explain a whole lot...

Thank you! I'll confess that the black hole thing was an inspired idea when I was looking at my desktop picture of the 'Dancing Galaxies'. Cool space image.

Review:
Liked it, but there are quite a few loose ends. What did D'Hoffryn give Xander? What 'things' did the two want from home? Shouldn't they have requested a 'knowledge' download so they at least knew everything any common Federation being knows (or even possibly Academy-graduate level knowledge so they could stay on ship)? Does Spock create that parental bond with the two? Does his 'contact' with Jim create a permanent bond? Why is Jim empathic - is he part alien or is it just a wierd human genetic quirk that allowed it? Will anyone besides Spock find out about his empathy now? Will Spike's immunity and Xander's new longevity stand up to phaser blasts, and other dangers in this new dimension?

I'm also curious if Federation science has a way to replace Xander's missing eye, or even provide a working prosthesis.

Only time will tell, however I did write a "Galactic Wishes 2" that may answer your questions, including Jim empathic abilities.

Well, I kind of liked it, but it seems like not an ending. Thanks for sharing!

Now that is a civilized way to do a summoning. Not offensive, but deliberate and just a little teasing to appeal to a sense of play and theatrics.

But, but, but... What did Dhoffryn give him? This is part 1 of a series right? What happens when Spock and Kirk get older? Did Spock get to establish a parent/child bond with Xan or Spike? If so what happens when he regrows up? More please!!!

See "Galactic Wishes II" for some answers to your questions.

You're just going to leave it like that?

Dude! That just is SO UNFAIR!

I wanna read about how the crew reacts to the goodies that Lord D brought back with him.
