Great, but you never mentioned how Jane's mom knew Helen.

Review of chapter "Episode Thirteen" from TaraLi
I'm really glad to see this - especially after the problems with Smashing Pumpkins, which was going awesome until it hit the 4th wall breakage.

You have captured Daria's snark *BEAUTIFULLY* throughout these three stories, while taking all of the characters in a very different direction. I enjoyed the actual sex scenes, but I'm very glad you didn't make them the whole point of the story - while PWP is fun sometimes, it's generally just not that much of a story.

Well done - thank you very much for posting these!

Thank you. and, yeah, stories don't do well when they're plotless.

From reading the review reply about your grammar--

Homophones, homophobes, I hope this shows you can do without either.
Comments from author:
Oh, you need the Homophones, you just need them to be used correctly.

Review of chapter "Episode Thirteen" from Lilkitsu
I started reading this series, and now, hours later, I'm very very tired, but happy to have done so. I liked the show Daria, and I think that this story captures it's general essence very well. While I don't usually go for threesome, etc. stories, this one really caught my interest and kept it. While I think everyone is probably a bit too accepting of the relationship, realistically speaking, I don't think it distracts from the story, and there's certainly enough drama to keep things from getting too light and fuzzy. Still, really enjoy this series, and hope Daria doesn't get herself killed.
Comments from author:
I understand where you're coming from wrt people being accepting. The way that I envision Lawndale is that it, in general, is accepting, at least of various minorities. What Daria tends to do is say, "Hey, if you're going to accept gays as you have, you'd better accept triads. Helen and Jake have had their reasons for accepting shoved in their faces, Amanda has always been that way, and Frank, he's not too sure about everything, but he loves Jen.

I don't think that Daria will die....but you never know.

These have been great to read. Really makes me want to pull out the DVD set and watch them all again :)
Also, nice work not only on the sheer length but also the execution. Few if any spelling or grammar errors here.
Comments from author:
I do my best to keep those down, it irks me to have to wade through them, as well. Especially Homophones.

I published the first ep of Season One on another site on August 17, and the last ep of Season Three on November 17. I just had to do minor editing to move from one to the other (BBCode to limited HTML). There are probably typos and other oopses that got fixed on the first site but that never made it back to my source, and for that, I apologize.

Review of chapter "Episode Thirteen" from Sadfru
Usually stay away unless has some scifi, kung fu, mythic magic aspect, but straight from season 1 you grabbed hold, I want to say that Daria is too extroverted (spelling?) but it just works, probably due to the relations and responses from the 'avalanche' of changes. Excellent writing, excellent character developement and look forward to seeing what other surprises are to come, especially with Tom showing up, pretty sure that sandy and tiffany will come out of the shadows as the tom/quinn aspect grows (if it does)

Looking forward to more :)
Comments from author:
Thank you. The reason that I have her more extroverted (right spelling) is that, as she's been in the closet for almost a year, her base personality is that little bit less trusting and accepting of authority, and the situations end up rewarding her when she steps forward. You could actually play it the other way, and say that the fear of being found out would make her more introverted, but I see Daria as someone who, as a pillar of who she is, sees herself as very, very intelligent. She just doesn't accept that everyone else is right. *shrugs* As I said, could be done either way, and that's the fork I chose.

You'll get more.
