Review of chapter "Whoops, Forgot the Intro!" from bookworm
Review:
I'm enjoying the Zoe Song series, and I'm intrigued by the second Prologue as well - when did Kennedy get all black-eyed, and what might she do now? As for unrelated challenges, there's a couple ideas I've been wanting to see for years now, but I'm not sure if either SG-1 or Animorphs are among your fandoms, so feel free to ignore them.

1) In the episode "Seth" during SG1's first season, there is a character named Jason Levinson, whose son Tommy Levinson has been brainwashed into a cult lead by a Goa'uld. What if Jonathon was related to them? The type of connection doesn't really matter; they can be long-lost twins separated at birth, or fourth cousins once removed. I can imagine a small exchange of letters about their respective strange experiences ("Yeah, dudes with glowing eyes are just bad news, man.") or Tommy could come to visit and inadvertantly reveal the existance of Goa'uld to the gang ("So, right, you expect me to believe that a race of alien tapeworms want to take over the world and enslave us all?" "Says the girl with a portal to hell under her school…"). Whatever works, if this interests you.

2) The Goa'uld from Stargate and the Yeerks from Animorphs seem rather similar to me. There are certainly differences, both in tactics used and in how they physically control people, but they're both grayish slug creatures whose natural habitat is liquid. My thought is that they were separated sometime in the past and have evolved differently, though I don't know which from which. With that, I wonder what would happen if either, they met each other again, or SG1 and the Animorphs did.

If neither of those work, I noticed Dollhouse in your list; several occur to me from that. How would the Buffy crew react to a girl who looks like Faith, but isn't? Or, how did Faith end up becoming Caroline and thence Echo? Or, what if 'Faith' is in fact an implanted personality that's escaped Echo's handlers?

Hope that's not too much of a bunny deluge. Good luck writing, whether it's any of these or not. :-)
