i honestly haven't watched glee since like the first two eps, but i loved this and i loved how you got across each of the students' personalities, i could just see exactly how they acted. would love to see a side bit to this where some of the bullies "accidentally" wind up in the dumpster thanks to buffy and some side help lol great work :)

I was originally going to say that the section with Puck was my favorite but I have to say that I also really adored the section with Kurt. I just love the way that Buffy was able to see through Puck and get through to him in one session, which is a damn sight more than anyone else at that school has done. (I keep flashing back to that scene in season 2 when Puck basically calls bullshit on the adults at the school caring about him and then storms out.) Xander helping him out would be so great to see. And the fact that Buffy was open with both him and Kurt made me smile as did the way that she was so...solid, I suppose is the word, about telling Kurt that it's okay to be gay and that she made sure to tell him that he could talk to Willow. I imagine that Kurt would probably mention to Burt that the new guidance counselor actually seems to be effective (no offense meant to Emma but, oh Lord, the pamphlets and how she's always so freaked out or unsure what to say....yeah WMHS needs Buffy *nods*) and willing to talk about things.
I really hope that you do more in this 'verse. It may only be a one shot now but it's already amazing.

I liked the storytelling and the scenes. I've only seen clips of "Glee" so my primary question is what you meant about Rachel's "hooter" singular. What was unusual about it? And what is it? Did you mean she had one really big breast and one really small breast?
EDIT: I've never heard that usage before - honker or schnozz I have heard.

Nose. It's not actually especially big, but it is noticeable to those expecting a cute, little one. It was discussed in 'Born This Way', when she was considering a nose-job.

Any chance you'll be continuing with this? You're off to a fascinating first day for Buffy at McKinley.

I am considering it. I do have a problem maintaining a Buffy-focus (or a Willow-focus) over a long story. I've signed up for a five-times big bang, and might do this as one of the five-times things: 'Five Times the Scoobies helped a Gleester(?)' or something like that.

Loved the story. Too bad it's ended. Is there a chance you will be doing more? I would love to see Buffy/Glee crossover like yours. I love that she saw through Puck and he responded well to her. I love her little talk with Kurt, and the whole Rachel thing was funny, too.

Thinking of doing a follow-up for the Five Times Big Bang thing next year. But it wouldn't be published until sometime after April, I think.

Please, write some more? I always thought Ms. P's approach was a little- well, not so practical with all the pamphlets etc., so Buffy is much better choice. And the part where she got Puck to give his given name was adorable..
Great story. I could actually see this as a multi-chapter fic. You gave me an idea for a story about Xander joining McKinnley as the new shop teacher. I think in the first season he left because he drank too much cough syrup.
