It looks like this story is unfinished though that does not diminish its value or its worth. Truly I esteem and admire your toil, and greatly desire to see more of this 'verse. As that shall not happen (though it leaves me saddened) I shall not mourn the dearth.
(I'm early for reviews-in-verse,but I couldn't resist :)
Wow. Just wow. The concept is nice, but the execution feels so much more. Don't know if I am simply getting too much or reading too much into it, but the feel of the tale so far is skimming the surface while seeing the endless fathoms below it.
Nice touches with Cordy and how you make Buffy a real character within the Inception world. Will be interesting to see what befell Willow. My guess would be that she was another trainee that fell in mission, but not knowing definately is adding to the flavor so don't be too anxious to reveal it all. Just hints here and there as you slowly peel it back.
I am curious if Arthur could almost be in the role of Oz as a translation. He doesn't talk much, and is a truly stoic figure.
From the sounds of it you are setting the Sunnydale verse about either Season 1 or 2 with how it comes across. Before Willow came out of her shell somewhat.
Overall a nice entry and can't wait for more. Bravo. Later.

Okay, this is most certainly a different view of both the reality which is Sunnydale and its inhabitants, and one I am very, very interested in seeing more of.
The undescribed details which frame the story - Willow's apparent death/departure from the unit, exactly what sort of dream scenario is Xander inhabiting and for what purpose, are any of the other characters representations of other people in the 'real' world (if there can actually be said to be such a thing), who are Angel, Giles and the other Scoobies based on - all are clamoring for attention, and I hope we see more of this one soon.
Excellent work.

Ok, now that the shock is wearing off re: the AU-ness of it, I'm really getting into this. Eames! yum. Delicious. And the description of Arthur and his gun was great. LOVE that Cordy made it in, even if it was just a mention. This story is very promising, m'dear!:)
I always get thrown off by AUs. I'm so utterly logical and close-minded at times that my brain freaks out when things change on me. Therefore, the story is written fantastically thus far and is gripping, but my stupid brain is like "Wait, so Buffy is Anne? And Xander and Willow were all part of the team? Is this no slayer-hellmouth type story and they're all normal people (well, besides creeping into dreams, that is). And what happened to Willow?
Also, Arthur is HOT and I'm really very pleased you are using him because I like the mental image, mmmm. :)
