Review of chapter "Interruptions" from ChefJackButler
Review:
It is actually remarkably easy to track Irish, British, Scots, and Welsh lineages. The problem isn't lack of records, its the patronomic customs. First sons were almost always named after the paternal grandfather for example, so in one lineage there could be five John A. Smiths. The hard part is telling which is which.

Review of chapter "Dawn in D.C." from bradsan
Review:
Why doesn't it surprise me that Spike played pacman.
Riley is right some vampires and Slayer can't move on. Riley did good how much time before he moved on three months, four months before he married Sam. Riley loved Buffy so much that when he met Sam he fell in love and married her. Way to go Riley. pfft.

One thing those two vamps have and Riley didn't. Those two vamps and Buffy love each other in such way they would die for each other and they would watch each others back. Where do you finds such love.

Wow was it Dru who want a new daddy. I really hope not because killing her will break Spikes heart and he don't deserve that. And if it was Dru, I thought she was dead. Don't know for sure but I really thought she was dead.

I really wish you would update this story.

Review of chapter "Dawn in D.C." from Selonianth
Review:
Coming from Spike... not terribly surprising that he's spent a lot of time playing Pacman. He DID fall in love with the 80's.

Review of chapter "The Believer in the Skeptic" from Rich
Review:
" The Eighties ? Right decade, pet ... wrong century."

Angela's magic caught me by surprise, but I think it works. Over the years, Angela has shown a wide range of abilities which didn't quite fit her original job as a street artist; facial reconstruction and 3-d computer imagery, for example. Of course, withcraft doesn't exactly fit either; but she could be using magic to augment her artistic ability, or to apply it in a different way. Brennan's reaction also makes sense; she can accept "supernatural" abilities in a nonhuman species, but not in a human being, plus she may feel betrayed that Angela never shared this with her before.

Overall, a pretty good chapter.
Comments from author:
Yeah, I always had trouble swallowing that, so I figured, hey, maybe she's a witch. I imagine she uses magic to work with and enhance computers the way Willow does in season six. Sort of using magic to communicate with the computer. Then she wouldn't need to have been taught to use the complex software. Also I think it makes intuitive sense to use magic to reconstruct dead people, as it were.

Ahh, Spike. Technically not seeing anyone, but he would like to, and no-one else can compare :(
And poor Brennan, she wasn't expecting to see the laws of physics disproved before her eyes!

Review of chapter "Curiosity Killed the Cats" from MarcusSLazarus
Review:
The start was a subtle yet interesting method of introducing Buffy to Booth without explicitly dropping either of them immediately into the other’s world- Buffy hasn’t witnessed a murder Booth could investigate, Booth hasn’t seen Buffy stake anything, etc.-, and Brennan’s own introduction to Angel was also effectively dramatic, given the clinical manner in which she ‘evaluated’ his condition and accepted even the impossible when presented with sufficient evidence (Although I admit that I also liked Booth’s brief reflection on the fact that Brennan’s still dating Hacker after rejecting him; that’s something I REALLY feel should have been tackled in the show, given that Brennan’s talk about not having the right kind of heart suggests to me that she shouldn’t even BOTHER dating if she feels that way).

Still, subsequent moments as Booth meets Buffy while Brennan works with Angel and Spike were rather effective even before the five of them met; I’m surprised that Booth took that long to recognise Angel, but I suppose the night-light, Angel being slightly younger (And therefore not an EXACT match to Booth’s face in the mirror), and Booth just having been through a serious upheaval of his pre-existing world-view could account for the time it took him to register something as relatively minor as his doppelganger.

Hope you’re going to continue this soon; the senator storyline raises some intriguing possibilities on its own, but I am DEFINITELY looking forward to seeing what happens when Booth confronts his newest attacker...
Comments from author:
Wow, thanks for the detailed review!

Yeah, it took Booth a while to figure it out. I wasn't sure about that, but I guess if I was confronted with a younger version of me on a dark street while more than a little sloshed and she was standing next to the love of my life and also I'd just discovered vampires were real...It'd take me a bit to focus on the whole doppelganger thing. Plus it was funny. I like funny.

I'll do my best with the updates, but I'm an easily distracted perfectionist, so sometimes things take a while. Reviews like yours really help with motivation, though :)
