You've added quite a few stories -- and this wasn't the Peanuts crossover I was expecting. (I read once, long ago, where Xander went to Peanutsland.) This one was very cute.

I agree with the votes against kicking Lucy, much as she deserves it. Chuck isn't that sort of guy.

I'd love to see Snoopy come back to the house, because maybe he would be able to talk and we could figure out his deal. (If Snoopy is in the Buffyverse, you know he's a lot more than an ordinary beagle.)

Ditto for Hobbes. And you gave us some Calvin too!

A great, GREAT tale.

I really like your stories, and this one is really sweet.

As for WolfWriter's question, turkey is indeed kosher. Or rather, it can be kosher. Technically, it has to be slaughtered by a shochet, but that is usually not considered essential for most families that practice Reform Judaism. (There are also rules for 'flicking' poultry that involve removing the feathers, and multiple rinses in cold water to remove as much blood as possible.)

That was sweet all around. I liked that you gave Giles another Doctor Who reference, but also intrigued by an earlier "Torchwood is a real organization" reference. Oh, I also liked that this time Dawn and Xander actually knew what it was. The joys of DVD and download collections!

Oh, this was ADORABLE!! Lovely. I even recognized all the kids (you had Charlie Brown and Linus down pat). Terrific job. Thanks for sharing.

LMAO! Loved it.
And Calvin as a chaos magician? Too apt! There is not enough C&H in BTVS fandom. :-D

Loved all the cameos! Charlie gets his chocolate and Linus gets his toys from the "Great Pumpkin".

Review:
First, this fic was, as all others in the series generally happy-making. I would have liked it from beginning to end. But I more than like it, I love it, because, well, “You dump those rocks out over there, and you get back here for some chocolate. Whatever you like, however much you like. If you can carry it, you can take it.”

I have always been so sad for Linus and Charlie Brown at Halloween. I get that they are fictional caracters, but I have never been able to laugh at kids somewhere in the elementary-school age range being so disappointed/mistreated (who gives a kid a bleeping rock?!). Thank you!

Review:
I have to say, only Xander could have wound up visited by Calvin THEN the Peanuts gang. That was glorious, and I have to agree it's what a mature and well-off Xander would do. (Why do I see Charlie looking up as the tree flies one of his kites someday soon?)

~~
On a more somber note:

As his son Jeff is doing the strip now, you may not know this, but Bil "Family Circus" Keane passed away this November.

I figure the man's going straight to Heaven with all he's done.. but it's still gonna take quite some time for him to get there.

In the meantime, I hope you will join me in saying goodbye to a devoted paper cartoonist with a great deal of heart.

*Requiscat in pace*, Bil.
Comments from author:
Yes, indeed. Ida Know and Not Me were frequent visitors in my childhood, and my favorite ones were Jeffy or Billy's wanderings through the neighborhood. Bil Keane was a sweet man, and he will be missed.

Review:
Okay, Joe and Ruthie from One Big Happy Family.

Calvin and Hobbes from same.

The Peanuts gang: Charlie got candy! YAY! (How could you tell one of the ghosts had blond hair? Wasn't it covered by the sheet?)

Snoopy.

Linus in the pumpkin patch.

The Great Pumpkin.

I was kinda hoping that the Big Four from the 1966 Batman movie would show up, looking for goodies. As big of a geek as Xander is, he'd have loved it (although I shudder to think of what Frank Gorshin's Riddler would be like on a sugar high.)

Andrew would have taken one look, squeaked, and fainted from a spontaneous geek-gasm.

Dawn....would have been vastly unimpressed, and asked who they were.

If you do a Thanksgiving one, maybe you should have the characters from Jesus Christ Superstar 1974 show up for dinner. Although I don't know if turkey is kosher; maybe substitute chicken?

The dryad would go into spasms over J.C. I should think.
Comments from author:
I didn't have a copy of It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown to watch, so I pulled up images off a Google search. It showed the gang with multiple ghosts, one of which had blond hair sticking out the top.

And, I'm ashamed to say that I've never even heard of the 1966 Batman movie.
