Review of chapter "Two to Tango" from TiaC
Review:
I really love this story. Not many authors can manage to give the characters new abilities without making it a wish fulfillment fic, but you nailed it! Keep up the good work!

Review of chapter "Two to Tango" from SlayingDan
Review:
Great story. And I have liked the whole series so far. Looking forward to seeing who you decide is worthy of Fragarach. Thought all the bits with it as a tattoo, particularly when Joyce found out were funny. Using her shirt to kill that demon was hilarious.

Thanks.

Review of chapter "Two to Tango" from lunalurker
Review:
This has turned out to be a very fun series, and I'm looking forward to future installments.
Buffy is one of my favorite thunder gods. And I hope that this is one timeline where everything doesn't turn completely awful for Faith, too.
Thanks for writing!
Comments from author:
Thank you, and they will encounter challenges but I'm a fan of the happy ending.

Review of chapter "Two to Tango" from DarthTenebrus
Review:
Just what, prithee tell me, was in those darts that was strong enough to knock out an elephant? And the Thunder Goddess took three of them; no wonder she was only out for fifteen minutes...

I expect the Aesir won't be seeing much of Mr Trick for a while yet...the vampire is rather resourceful, and with his late master's possibly extensive network of safehouses and financial assets, it should be generally accepted that he can remain hidden for quite some time. I submit that the Ginn Holy Gods (quoted from the Eddas) will instead focus on determining the next threat.

Sound plausible?
Comments from author:
Unfortunately, he didn't tell me what was in it either, we'll have to take him at his word.

As for the rest, it is plausible, perhaps even possible.

Review of chapter "Two to Tango" from FellowSufferer
Review:
Perhaps it's just me, but it seems like the new chapters are of somewhat lesser quality than the older ones. They're certainly fine, but to me they don't flow like the ones before did (does it make sense?). Part of it is that there were several strong, good character-driven conflicts before (Buffy's return and settling in, her desire to learn about previous slayers in the wake of her successor's death, Faith's arrival and HER issues, bonding between them) - and then, after resolving those conflicts, the new ones don't feel quite as good or interesting, and the old ones aren't followed up on enough. So to me the newer chapters feel like something you wrote out of sense of obligation, following the timeline set by TV-series, to put something up, like you're not that interested in it anymore, and it's a shame, because it could've been so much better.

Sorry if I sound too harsh, but that's my take on the new content. Seeing as your main priority at the moment is Original Fiction, I can understand if fanfiction seems like a step backwards to you, but I hope you'll manage to return to it with more interest someday. Good luck!
Comments from author:
No, you are not harsh. This little arc's supposed to be a point of rest, I want to ramp up from here.

And I actually wrote these chapters right after I wrote the earlier chapters. As I said, I've been sitting on a lot of chapters. My original plan was to write the entire story first, like I did with Aesir of Sunnydale, and then post. That's not going to happen now, obviously, but I did come as far as 20 chapters, 11 of those have now been posted.

Not dead, merely sleeping, waiting for the day it is most needed.

Then the King of the ... wrong story, sorry.

And you are welcome.

Review of chapter "Slayerfest 98" from DarthTenebrus
Review:
Hahaha...they still think she's a Slayer, do they? Boy, if this were taking place in 2008 instead of 1998 the streaming satellite footage of Buffy streaking skyward with a big hammer in one hand and the other Slayer in the other hand would have clued them in...would it not? Ohhhhhh, they would have pissed themselves at seeing not a Slayer but a Norse Goddess!

Edit/Reply: Oh yes, they most certainly have. I only meant to reference the Slayerfest event taking place in 1998 as opposed to 2008, and thence to query about the ramifications of a possible Slayerfest 2008, given the technology of each time period. If one were to consider this question, would the invitees to the event still remain ignorant of the Scoobies' new status as Norse deities, or would the tech of 2008 betray them?
Comments from author:
Buffy and the gang have been keeping their status fairly quiet.

Edit/Reply: Given modern technology, with almost everybody having a camera on them at all times, I think the supernatural in general wouldn't be able to stay hidden. The Scoobies are staying hidden even in 1998 as much because the supernatural world doesn't use technology much. So it's not really a question of how advanced the equipment is, but whether is used at all.
