OK. Maybe I am not reading right. Buffy is Immortal; but she did not die at the hands of the master?
Comments from author:
No, Buffy is a slayer- not immortal. Different types of magic. She can feel Adam's quickening because of her supernatural 'radar'.

No slayer line split -- yet. Something else could happen that might require CPR. Nicely done. Would have liked a longer more detailed chapter -- but what you showed us was well done.

Now that REALLY changes things - no Kendra, no Faith, no First Evil because it was able to enter the world because there were two Slayers, etc. etc.

Very sneaky, that Methos feller; makes ya proud, don't it?
I'm hoping that the next part comes soon, preferably with some added Janna scenes to tease Giles; maybe further distancing any possible Angel action that might occur. Always felt Janna being killed was one of the (many) mistakes of the show, so I'm crossing fingers she gets to hand around as long as the rest of'em.
Buffy actually figured out the whole thing about Adam, which really surprised me to be honest. I half figured that it'd be danced around; she'd be of the opinion that prophecies, were as Adam pointed out, easily mistaken or interpreted, so that everyone would go on while Methos has his little laugh at the whole thing.
Now that Methos is coming back, will he be doing the intelligent thing and upping everyone's training? While he's no boy scout, like certain Gaelic friends of his, I don't see him being happy with basic self-defense style training for the Gang, so I'd honestly expect him to start ramping up everyone's individual as well as team training - which would make Willow miserable at first, then build her confidence and ego as more start to see her as a lovely young woman and not a homework geek machine. Xander may or may not be part of that willow Appreciation Group; depends on if you have him seeing her as the only family he has or not; but his training is something I believe he knows he needs and will be working on harder while Methos is out of town.
Angel really needs Methos to have a very long heart to heart talk about his stalking a girl over 200 years his junior that there is not the faintest whisper of a hope that he can have a relationship with. Methos should force him at least to realize that the Romeo and Juliet aspect of their thing is all too true - that the only future they have is a tragic one, so it's better for Buffy that it end. Which was the other major problem I had with the series - necrophiliac "heroines"....
