Very nice holiday cheer to add to this blustery season, well done!

Glad you enjoyed it. ;-)
I'm trying to start a tradition of having a *happy* Christmas story to post each year, as opposed to Joss' usual 'Drop your pants and bend over, because I'm sticking it to you people *again*' storyline - if there even was any sort of Christmas story. It's clear the man had serious nihilistic tendencies, judging by the way the characters in all of his stories were treated. ;-(

SNYDER was--oh, he dressed as Santa for a Christmas party (or to pull extra cash during the Christmas break) and was caught up in (by) the Holiday Spirit.
Nice.
I predict a few *fun* YAHFs involving Snyder dressing up that night in the near future..

Thanks for reviewing.
And it would be fun to be inspiration of a new round of stories. ;-)

Very nicely done - and since you brought in Faith, I'm saying that she had an encounter along the lines of the rest and that helped her in her relationships with Xander and Cordelia... 'cause that's just how Dawn and Santa roll, ya know?
And Joyce wasn't at the Giles residence because she was coming in late from an art exhibition she was sponsoring and you just forgot to mention it...

I like your explanation just as much as my story. Thanks. ;-)

But also utterly unique, amusing, and smile-inducing.
Perhaps one of the best BtVS counterfactuals I've read to date, even if the sweetness factor was so high.
I approve.

Thanks for reviewing and for the nice words. ;-)
The story really needed to be syrupy sweet to counteract the stomach-turning bilious garbage which Joss, Marti and the rest of their minions tried to shove down our throats (the last two seasons, especially).
Glad you enjoyed the story. ;-)

Forgot to ask in my review to your group; but who were the beings that changed Ethan's spell? I know you identified the female as Morgan LaFay, but who was Gabe?
red
Comments from author:
Gabe is Gabriel, aka Loki, from Supernatural. He likes to mes with people's heads, too. ;-)

y'know, if you'd really wanted to cause a stir and not have to make up such a big justification for it happening you'd have sent Ethan to one of the many costumed conventions like comiccon and have him enchant the entry autherization bracelets they always seem to insist upon.
decent read beyond that though.

That's yet another possible story you could see in the future. ;-)
My muse glommed onto the idea when it came up in the group discussion, and took it from there.
