Nicely done. I got Emma and John immediately, but then I'm fairly old. I liked how you brought in Agent Starling and you let Quentin be the 'good guy' (relatively speaking). I would have liked to see more of Emma's 'classic' fighting style and to give John something physical to do as well, but not everything fits in such a story.

Yet ANOTHER great story! You write such a great Faith, no matter how old she is in your stories. Nice to see Mrs. Peel and John still kicking ass and taking names. Do they still use firing squads in the UK? I think what the CoWs did would be considered treason along with all the other criminal acts they carried out during the kidnapping. But I think Buffy's life, even without Giles, should be a whole lot better with John in charge of the new Council. And what a Slayer Lady Faith will be when she is Called.

It took me a little bit but I finally figured out The Avengers and well done on the addition of Clarice Starling, as the Queen being Faith's godmother...lovely! And yes the visuals on Faith getting into the desserts with Ronald Reagan priceless not to mention Reagan encouraging Faith to slide down the stairs at the White House. Overall a 10 and I am really looking forward to the next chapter!

It was great until the end. Why did you have to kill off Giles.

Adorable and thrilling at the same time, especially for something that short, and the crossovers, and especially the infamously amazing parents, were a great touch. But wow, heck of a body count on this one too.
Alas, poor Watchers Council, you were... well, a bunch of useless and arrogant jerks actually, so no one will miss you. Good riddance.
Except Giles. Poor Giles, you really screwed up this time. I'm very disappointed in you.
And good job Faith. Keep on kicking ass. :)

Steed and Mrs Peel never seem to have been a couple (she certainly left fast enough when her husband turned up), but it works for this story...which I REALLY enjoyed.

Great chapter. Evil Giles - not something you see too often on this site, but quite conceivable if he'd toed the Council line more closely in his younger days. Good to see Faith with decent caring parents from the beginning.
