and i love that the soldier and hyena are in play too, i always thought fics with them added in the mix were more interesting ^^

Considering how vague and mysterious the package is, only one person could it be-Destiny or been known as Irene Adler. Sound interesting and I normally don't read slash. Cannot wait to see where this going. By the way, where X-men setting is this? The movie or the comic?

The standard Atom would fit, then there's Atomos, Alchemist since he can break down atoms on a molecular level, hadron, quark, element, Zero, Lepton, Nuclear, Carbon, Argon, or Bond.

I just noticed that in a re-read thru that in Chapter 1, the sentinels were first used in L.A. I wonder when, and if no then why not, they will hit all the non-humans that were shown in the Angel series like all the vampires and demons and even demonic bases that also serve as lawyer offices. It could be an impressive magic versus science war going from a shadow war to a hell-fire hot war started by sentinels kicking the hornets nest over.

Looking at some of the other comments, I wonder if Xander is like a cousin of Doctor Manhatten, except instead of seeing time as linear his mind sees everything more as a quantum possibilities. As a bit of speculation, maybe he is like the Ultimate version of Beyonder or a cousin of the Sentry with a more stable insanity/possession (instead of a crazy duality of light and darkness, it is a trinity of man, soldier, and animal).
