Bizarre in its simplicity, I'll give you that, but an interesting look at the Doctor's 'dates' with River (Even if I think Buffy recognised him a bit too quickly given that she doesn't exactly have that much experience with regeneration).

I would say that I couldn't believe the Doctor took Buffy's "advice" seriously, but he is the Eleventh Doctor after all. Out of all his incarnations, the Eleventh is most likely to have enough screws loose to actually seriously believe her.
I loved the dialogue between the Doctor, River, and Buffy. It has that same quick wit that both shows are famous for.
It also reminded me that I need to watch more Doctor Who. I'm still only a couple episodes into Series 5...

Sigh, nice chapter, but now I'm the one with spoilers, for the season of doctor who I haven't gotten around to seeing yet. I don't know why they stopped showing it on syfy. It's rather annoying.
