Review of chapter "Chapter One" from omnimercurial
This has promise. ^_^ Please continue with it. Even though full Space Marine Bio-Conversion might be beyond Vulcan's capability right now, Partial Enhancement andAugmentation to Human Plus/Space Marine Lite should still be an option upon implantation of one of Vulcan's Gene Seed's. As this is a pre dark age WH40k Primarch, Could we see Vulcan focusing on continuing the Emperor's goals of science, enlightenment&reason to combat&diminish the influence of the Warp on the Material Plane?

OKay. It should be 1997 though, instead of 1998.

Season One took place in Spring 1997.

Season Two - Late Summer or early Fall 1997 - Spring 1998.

Season Three - Late Summer or early Fall 1998 - Spring 1999.

Buffy didn't come to Sunnydale until the Spring semester of the 1996-7 school year.

The Halloween Episode would have happened on Friday, October 31, 1997.
(Assuming that the kids went trick or treating on Halloween)
Comments from author:
You sure? Buffy started in 1997, Halloween episode was in second season so that would be 1998.

Turn Xander and some other guys into space marines.
Comments from author:
That would be great, but he is a lone Primarch with none of the gene-tech needed to synthesize the required organs, psycho-indoctrination, hypno-therapy, and chemical treatments required to create a Space Marine.

Because I just have to be a jerk sometimes: Failure to do your research is noted.

Sol system in 30k is ten thousand (or something near it) light years closer to the galactic core than it is today. It was moved for sh*t and giggles during the Dark Age of Technology. Plus, star constellations change. Vulcan wouldn't recognize north american sky of the second millenium even if he was placed in the exact same coordinates where sol is in 30th millenium.

Second. Vulcan seems overly emotional. Sank to his knees? Really?

Third. Vulcan is a Primarch. This means that he is an Alpha Plus class psyker, even if a latent one. That means that he should be immediately aware that there is NO EMPEROR on this world. Which means that is not Holy Terra, but likely some sort of long lost colony world that calls itself Earth, Terra, Gaia and other such names. GEOM knows, there were lots of those out there. Oh, and Vulcan is also a prophet. And a Oh Holy Mother Of God powerful psyker. I can't stress this enough.

Plus he is something like 8 to 10 feet tall at least. Vulkan is a superhuman giant that cannot be really mistaken for a normal human.

Just because I, too, have to be a jerk sometimes.
Comments from author:
I had no idea that Earth was moved during the Dark Age of Technology, never read anything close to that happening. And does that mean the entire solar system was moved too? As for constellations, I may remove it and just have him focus on the moon. I just needed something for him to recognize.

As for Vulkan, go search for Promethean Sun online. It really gives new depth to Vulkan and what his aspect of The Emperor is. From what I've read of the Horus Heresy novels each Primarch is a certain aspect of The Emperor. Yes, I think all of them have some form of psychic power, but only Magnus could be considered anywhere close to a Alpha plus, thus he is The Emperors psychic aspect, while Vulkans ability is prophecy. Vulkan is many things thanks to his upraising on Nocturne, but he shares The Emperors compassion. And this has been passed down to his sons, they are always trying to help the human population and get angry when others take the lives of humans needlessly(Wars for Armageddon). That is why he is emotional, oh yeah and he had just been in a slaughter against seven of his brothers and is suddenly transported through space and possibly time to a place unknown. I do like your idea about just another planet thinking it is Terra but is just lost system of humanity. However, The Emperor was rather quiet throughout his time on Earth, he did wait for over 30,000 years to make his move, only helping here or there to give humanity a push it might need.

Considering Space Marines are 7 to 8 feet tall I would put most Primarchs at 10 to 12 because they tower over Space Marines. I tried to convey this when Vulkan was kneeling, still towering over a average human male.

Thanks for the information and review, I will see what I can do to make flow a bit better. Also remember this is more for the fun of having a Primarch in buffyverse than anything else.
