I just found this little gem of a story and I love it so far. I really hope you will continue to write it again soon. I am so glad she found Fin again. Loving it and looking forward to more.

Only just realised that I must have missed this in the run up to Christmas, when i checked my 'followed authors' list.
Excellent descriptions of their fight for freedom - what fun to see Thorongil(!), and how lovely to see her reunited with Finrod. Oh - I like the idea of someone (Maglor?) being there to help her heal, too.
Very nice update. Buffy is truly becoming used to the ways of Middle Earth in all of its beauty and ugliness. Your meeting of Buffy and Finrond was very nice and fit the story quite nicely. This entire even will have implications and butterfly effects from here on out, the Corsairs having lost a lot of their home, more or less all their slaves and several very expensive ships to the enemy, while Gondor gains those ships, which will be needed. As the Chinese said, for want of a nail...(or in this case, a ship, a slave, etc)
I love pretty much everything about this chapter: Buffy and the others successfully escaping from the Cosairs, Buffy and Finrod being reunited, AND *Thorongil* entering the story. SO. MUCH. AWESOME.
Guess Finrod and Buffy will need to catch each other up on what happened to them since they were separated. I'm definitely looking forward to Finrod's reaction whenever she tells him about meeting an elf named Makalaurë.
And Happy Holidays to you too!
