It's not listed that way, *but* if you read Don't Be, and later, when I start posting other stories in that Line Hopper series, you'll see, it's very closely related. The two are supposed to work together. I wrote this way before I saw the Buffy season about the Key, and once I saw that, I was just like, "Oh, I have to put these two together." Hence, the reason this story is up here. The two link together.

I hated Avatar. A lot of this fic is me poking fun at Avatar. But I agree, I love this fic. Despite not liking Avatar.

Maybe. I'm not sure the story would work with Grace in it. And if it did, I'm not sure Grace would have contributed much. The story is, at its core, about the Doctor and his relationship with Eywa. I think Grace might have been interested in the technobabble, to a certain point, but that would have distracted from the relationships. It's actually interesting to contemplate, because I honestly am not sure how Grace would have changed this story. The fact that she isn't a total idiot like Jake would probably have counted for something. But I have Neytiri for that, and I think it works better with Neytiri. I think Grace might have been too smart for this story, in a way. If that makes sense. This isn't making any sense at all, is it?
