An angry and bitter xander. I hope Willow gets curious and reads his letter, because Xander will never fess up what he did,and a angry Willow just might set him straight. I really like how you tied up the loose ends before continueing on to the original story.

The letter to Giles was touching as was Xander's. Trust me, Xander may feel guilty he lied to Buffy (as he dang well should have!), but he's shedding no tears over Angel.
The sad thing about this scenario (and yeah, I love it) is that Faith likely won't make it to sn6. She'll end up dead, like as not as did Buffy, in the fight with Glory. And unlike Buffy, Willow won't be as invested in getting Faith back from the dead. Meanwhile Buffy stands a better than even chance of living to ripe old age. Sad story is, the Champions chosen to be Slayers are seen as expendable tools (in the literal sense of the word) by their employers, while the SGC considers even a private worth a rescue attempt and plenty of fire support.
I wonder if Buffy will ever wonder on her replacement's fate...and her replacement.... And how even one SGC team and equivalent training would mean for her survival chances. Just a thought.
Heh, didn't taste like chicken!
The Cracker!

Thanks for the review. Frankly, neither Giles nor Xander will be shedding any tears over Angel. You are probably correct about Faith not making to it to season 6 but I haven't planned that far ahead. On the bright side, maybe Willow won't delve quite so deeply into black magic. You also fed the plot bunny again. Tisk, tisk.
