Review of chapter "Prometheus Only Stole Fire" from Listener
Review:
Compared to the other stories in this series (so far), I was kind of underwhelmed by the lack of true conflict. This was more like a first act, where a future story will pay everything off that was set up here. It's not to say that it wasn't good or enjoyable, but I've kind of come to expect more from these. So I'll press on and see what's next.

Amazing fun and inventive! And also a member of a very rare species, a Buffy story where things not only went according to plan, it did so smoothly and with class and professionalism. And the cast was great too! Thank you for writing, I am loving this series.

I noticed your note at the botttom of the page. I find that having a voice in mind helps a lot on writing dialogue. If the character has a distinctive voice and attitude, I can write him or her (or sometimes it) a lot better, a lot easier, and a lot more distinctively. In fact, when I write an OC (as in my Whateley Universe stories), I often try to come up with a 'voice' so I can hear the character in my head as I write and get the character talking properly.

This is a great series. Buffy is getting so many allies, everyone except Wonder Woman and Honey West it seems. I had to read it twice to visualize the building and all the safeguards. The Trojan Horse theme was pretty good and the lightning bolts from Zeus was original, haven't seen anyone use that yet. Good Job!

That was awesome. Shades of the original mission impossible.

I'd think that Dutch would be pretty happy with that week's work. Totally deniable, no casualties, I think that makes a good op in anyone's book!

Good story. (assuming the plane isn't intercepted somehow). Next up is, who owned the building & commissioned the theft in the first place. They had impressive amounts of knowledge about things that nobody should have known about. W&H maybe? A client of W&H? There are all sorts of possibilities. That somebody should be a little bit unhappy about all this...

It seems like this story is kinda weak compared to the rest of the series but I found it a fitting stepping stone to more showing how Buffy is developing as a leader and planner, especially after her first company level command in Ancient Ghosts. It is also showing how Buffy is building up her own 'old boy network' which is really starting to show its value. As always looking forward to more.

Outstanding! This may be THE only case of a plan actually working with no interference from Lord Murphy... then again, the bolts haven't gotten dropped into the volcano yet... But that's all on Wesley and the Council, so Buffy & Co. are in the clear there!
Loved Al Mundy being brought in, every time I read his parts, I heard Robert Wagner's voice in my head.
Hoping to see the Mundys and Hannah and her 'aide' in future stories.
