Review of chapter "The Epiphany in the Darkest Hour" from Angelfirenze
Review:
This was awesome. I loved it and you've made me curious what would happen if Bones ever actually met Connor and saw what he was like.

Did you ever specify if his attitude adjustment within Hell.A. was permanent and whatever he may have become after that? Like, I don't know, a member of some sort of law enforcement agency like his father? That'd be...well, I have to say I find it hilarious, myself, especially if Angel had no idea.

You know how oblivious he can be about the most close-to-home things, after all...Season Four was an entire testament to that, the jackass.

I really like this. It's a very thoughtful application of one of Angel the Show's more poignant moments to an entirely applicable moment in this continuation 'verse you've created.
You handle the characters very well, especially considering the mash-up that is Booth/Angel and his relationship with Bones (one even the show writers have issues with at times).

Thanks; glad you like what I did.

Wondered if anyone remembered TJ as one of the lawyers at the Halloween party.

I think that Booth's past as Angel might just be a good thing. Especially now that the Squints and Cullen know about it.
Comments from author:
His character made a couple of other appearances as well.

It may not come up again in future- I don't have any immediate plans to continue this series, after all-, but I'll let you know if something occurs to me.

I haven't read any of your earlier stories but I liked this one. Bones is one of the few shows on TV today that I make an effort to watch. I have to admit though that Angel was not one of my favorite characters from Buffy, or Angel to be honest. Him becoming Booth is very interesting. I will have to read your earlier stories and find out how that came to be.
Comments from author:
The full details of the transformation can be found in 'Sister in the Door'; 'Angel of the Bones' just looks at key events in the first four seasons to explore Booth's reactions to events based on his past as Angel.

Review:
It's a good point Booth/Liam's making;

The point of living a good life and doing good is just that. Set the example. Besides, the scum-buckets out there only have each other in the end.

Heaven and Hell have exactly one thing in common; They are manifest on Earth in people. You don't really need more motivation than that.
