I love this SO much! Unlike so many other Dresden fen, I really enjoyed the TV series and looked at it as an AU of the books, sort of an apples and oranges thing, because though the series may have been inspired and very loosely based on the books, they were so very different as to be something else entirely. To say that I was quite upset with Skiffy/Syphy for cancelling it in its first season is an understatement of the grossest sort and your story was like being able to watch the first act of a new episode. Thank you for that! I'm really looking forward to the next bit, whenever you get a chance to write it.
